What are "Top Notes", "Middle Notes" and "Base Notes" and how do they affect scent? Read a brief explanation in our Perfumery Notes Explained.

7 up nut cake7-Up Nut Cake - a ForYourNose.com original blend - This is what happens when I mix two of my favorite scents -- I get something truly outstanding. This is a blend of the smash hit, 7-Up Pound Cake and my personal favorite, Nut (type). The rich, sweet aroma of almond cake is beautifully balanced by the sparkling citrus of the 7-Up. Yummers!

7 up pound cake7-Up Pound Cake - This is a mouthwatering blend of rich pound cake, almond, lemon, lime, vanilla and sugar. The cake notes will satisfy your craving for bakery scents, and the lemon-lime adds a wonderful freshness to the blend.

absintheAbsinthe - Our version of this legendary underground favorite is a unique blend of anise, sugar, juniper, spices and various citruses.

According to Wikipedia, Absinthe -- sometimes called "The Green Fairy" because of its coloring -- originated in Switzerland as an elixir and later gained popularity in France in the 19th and 20th centuries. Although it was banned by 1915 in the United States and various other European countries for being "a dangerously addictive psychoactive drug", there's no evidence it's any more dangerous than any other alcohol.

acai berry fragranceAçai Berry - Berry scents are hot! This is ripe açai berries with just the right amount of bold sweetness. To me, this smells like a warm and inviting simmering berry scent.

Alien (Thierry Mugler type) - I was intrigued by the name of this fragrance, and even more intrigued when I smelled it. To date this is the most expensive fragrance in our entire line (expensive for us, not for you), but it's well worth it.

From our perfumer: "From French fashion designer Thierry Mugler, the creator of the phenomenally popular Angel, comes Alien, an enticing floral blend like no other. Our interpretation of Alien starts with top notes of mandarin and melon, which quickly metamorphose to a strong floral middle led by notes of jasmine, orange blossom, and rose, atop a woodsy base supplemented by vanilla and musk. The real thing is blindingly expensive at well over $100 per bottle, so give our version a try and let your extraterrestrial fragrance adventure begin. BOTTOM LINE: Very strong, very different, and sure to turn heads."

Almond Macaroon (also an ECONOMY SCENT)- A sweet, rich almond scent (reminiscent of maraschino cherries), with rich buttery vanilla and a hint of spice. Delicious!

Almond, Milk & Honey - A sweet blend of Almond, Milk and Honey with a touch of Hawthorn, Cherry and Musk -- a definite "comfort scent" and always a best seller. This fragrance is smooth and inviting.

Almond Rum CakeAlmond Rum Cake - A sugary blend of white cake, creamy Cherry-Almond frosting and just a dash of rum.

Aloha Tiare (Comptoir Sud Pacifique type) - I have fallen in love with this breathtaking fragrance, and I think you will too. Tropical florals predominate, with hints of sweet and musk -- I feel beautiful when I wear this.

From our perfumer: "This is a simple, easy-to-like tropical blend of tiare flower, vanilla, coconut, ylang-ylang, and a touch of white musk. Whisk yourself away to the islands with this sunny, irresistible blend!"

Amaretto Utopia - This fragrance is even more difficult to describe than it was to name! Our perfumer calls it "Amaretto Nog", but to me it doesn't smell like a "Nog" at all, and even calling it an Amaretto is a stretch. Don't expect it to smell like a plain Amaretto, because it doesn't. Technically it's a blend of sweet almond and warm vanilla -- but this is definitely a case of the blend being much, much more than the sum of its parts. Absolutely unique, Amaretto Utopia makes me come back again and again for another sniff. Try a sample and see if you like it as much as I do.

Amazing Grace (Philosophy type) - A sparklingly fresh floral-white musk blend. From our perfumer: "Top notes of all-natural Italian bergamot and lemon essential oils are sweetened with fruity touches of peach, plum, and ripe raspberry. This is all a brief prelude to a mind-blowing midsection composed of a classic floral trifecta of jasmine, orange blossom, and rose. A hint of cedarwood and an enormous splash of the most glorious white musk make for a clean, sexy finish. Bottom Line: If you've already splurged on the real thing, our copy most definitely will not disappoint."

amberAmber - Just wait till you smell this Amber! Warm, sensual and very calming, this multi-faceted scent is the basis of many of the classic perfumes of the 20th Century. Rich and full-bodied yet subtle and earthy-sweet, it is a mysterious and haunting fragrance that amber fans will adore.

Amber Patchouli - A ForYourNose original scent blend

This blend of my popular Amber fragrance and Patchouli Essential Oil is just what you're looking for if you want a sweet & earthy scent. The amber is the star of this blend, and it's anchored and balanced by dark patchouli.

amber warmthAmber Warmth - Longtime foryournose customers may remember a fragrance that we had a while ago, called "Warmth". Unfortunately, the perfumer who made it was unreliable and we were forced to discontinue the popular scent. Good news, friends! We recently found a new perfumer that offers an amber blend that's so similar to "Warmth" that we're re-introducing it, and calling it "Amber Warmth". If you like amber and are a fan of sweet scents, we think you'll really like Amber Warmth! From our perfumer: "Floral fragrance with a green, peachy note surrounding a jasmine-rose bouquet and warm sweet amber, sandalwood and musk."

Ambra del Nepal (i Profumi di Firenze type) - What took me so long to add this amazing fragrance to my scent list, right? Enjoy a blend of Nepalese amber with earthy cardamom and sweet Madagascar vanilla. Rich, warm, spicy & woody yet fresh and very wearable.

Amour de Cacao (Comptoir Sud Pacifique type) - I seriously considered renaming this scent "For External Use Only" or "Wear Me, Don't Eat Me" because it REALLY smells good enough to eat. This is sinfully rich and sweet, and I can't find a good reason to stop smelling it... From our perfumer: "Positively addictive! This scent is an elegant fragrance confection infused with eroticism. A grounding base note of the aphrodisiac Cocoa Bean makes this scent a must for sharing. Passionately warm, unsweetened Dark Chocolate playfully dances with Vanilla and the surprise lilt of Star Fruit. A bright and delectable Orange Zest completes the intoxication with the warmth of a sunlit, Mediterranean grove. This is a scent so beautifully balanced and delicious, it will become your favorite sinful indulgence...staggeringly seductive in leave-on products."

Angel (type)Angel (Thierry Mugler type) - I finally found a version of Thierry Mugler's ultra-popular "Angel" fragrance that I absolutely adore. This is a very sensual blend of light florals, hints of citrus and exotic fruits on a base of vanilla, rich woods, patchouli and musk. Try this if you like our Arcadia scent.

Apple Berry Smoothie - LIMITED EDITION - This is another fragrance that my nose wants to come back to time and again. I just love smelling it (and so does Rhys). Just as the name implies, this is a fruity blend of fresh apple and ripe berries with a smooth vanilla background. It's sweet, but not too sweet.

apple butter caramelApple Butter Caramel - Everyone knows that apples and caramel go well together, but this is different than a caramel apple scent. This unique scent is more fresh and less sweet, and it's not spicy like a typical apple butter scent. This is a blend of McIntosh apple, steamed milk, caramel toffee pudding, apple butter, fresh nutmeg, vanilla bean, and soft musk. Lovely!

apple pumpkin butterApple Pumpkin Butter - Fall in love with another fragrance that's perfect for fall! This is more apple than pumpkin, but the pumpkin adds a nice sweetness and really rounds it out & keeps it from being as spicy as a lot of apple butter scents. From our perfumer: "top notes of orange, apple, pear, pineapple, and cherries; middle notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove; with base notes of warm vanilla." Deeelish!

Applejack & Peel (Claire Burke type) - The minute Todd smelled this one, he declared it a winner! This faithful interpretation of the popular Claire Burke fragrance is so refreshing yet warm and cozy at the same time; the crisp, tart goodness of apples is first and foremost. Added is the zingy tang of orange peel, and topped off with just the right amount of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove to enhance but not overwhelm the fragrance. Apple Jack is uplifting and will bring out the happy mood in us all!

apples & oakApples & Oak - Fresh, clean and perfect for fall! This is a lovely blend of crisp McIntosh and Granny Smith apples, with woody oak leaves and oakmoss. If lavender isn't your thing (so you're not into my popular Lavender, Apples & Oak fragrance), you should give this a try.

apricot jam tartApricot Jam Tart - This is more tart than our sweeter, vanilla-dominant "Vanille Abricot (type)" fragrance, and the emphasis is on the rich & fruity apricot.

Arabian Spice - Filled with the aromatic scents of a romantic time past, Arabian Spice is a blend of crushed clove, heightened with a subtle hint of vanilla beans and fragrance notes of ginger root and cinnamon powder. If you like clove and are looking for something a little different & exotic, this is for you. If you like this, try our Tropical Spice! Please note: Fragrances containing cinnamon may irritate sensitive skin.

Arcadia - This is a personal favorite -- it's an incredible mix of exotic woods, fruits and spices softened by a touch of vanilla. Unlike many fragrance oils that contain mostly synthetic fragrances, this is primarily a blend of pure, natural essential oils including patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver, clary sage, mandarin, lemon, grapefruit, neroli, anise and several others along with musk and vanilla fragrance oils. You'll want to wear this scent (I do!).

arctic raspberryArctic Raspberry - Todd really likes this true raspberry scent. It's raspberry in all it's natural, uncomplicated glory, fresh and juicy.

From our perfumer: "Without any notes of candy or jam, this succulent winey fruit scent has hints of green leaf, tea, clear ozone air and snow kissed mountains."

Aspen Winter (type)Aspen Winter (Bath & Body Works type) - A lively blend of crisp citrus and warm winter spices to make your home smell warm and inviting. Top notes: orange, lemon & cherry. Middle notes: clove & cinnamon. Base notes: vanilla and musk. Because of the spice notes, you'll want to order sample sizes of any leave-on products (lotion, perfume, etc) to make sure it doesn't irritate your skin, and consider using this primarily as a fragrance for your home or car.

atomic fireball cinnamonAtomic Fireball Cinnamon - This cinnamon really packs a wallop! Todd really likes this in a Room & Linen Spray, and it makes a phenomenal Scent Sack. It's skin-safe (as are ALL our fragrances), but people with sensitive skin might want to avoid using cinnamon scents with leave-on products like lotions & body butters. From our perfumer: "Remember the big red candy that was so hot, you had to switch it from cheek to cheek to avoid the burn?"

Aura Mia - Aura Mia (in MY world, the name roughly means "My Aura") is a hauntingly unique and exotic blend. I was having a very difficult time describing this fragrance, and one of my testers said she thought it smelled like a blend of vanilla, amber and musk. She also said this is her new favorite of all the scents we sell. Looking for something a little different and perhaps ethereal? Give it a try. From our perfumer: "Heart notes of Amber and Rum with a light top note of musk and Bay make this irresistible!"

autumn wreathAutumn Wreath (Yankee Candle type) - This fragrance is ONLY for Smelling Salts & Scent Sacks (and tarts when I have a chance to add them to the site). A super strong blend of autumn leaves, cinnamon apples, nutmeg and clove. Get the Smelling Salts and fill your home with the fragrance of autumn!

Awapuhi Seaberry - A fresh & clean blend of awapuhi (aka Hawaiian White Ginger) and lightly sweet berries.

Baby Face (Child type) From our perfumer: "It is based on a bouquet of the most exotic, rare wild flowers background, with notes of caramel and musk on the dry down." I don't really smell the caramel note in this blend so I wouldn't call this a bakery scent by any means; it's more like an innocence touched by sweet seduction... Very wearable indeed! For those of you who are familiar with the Akron Ohio-based (I believe) scent boutique "Honey Gold", this reminds me of their signature scent, which was my favorite scent to wear during my early college days.

Baby Grace (Philosophy type) - I'll admit, when I saw the name of this scent I wasn't expecting to like it. I've never been a big fan of "baby" scents (you'll notice I don't have a baby powder scent on the site -- I'm not sure I could stand to work with it). So when I took my first sniff of the sample we received from our perfumer, I could hardly believe my nose. It's FABULOUS! Truly! It's innocent, sure, but with a subtle seduction that means business! Many of our customers have told us our version is much better than the original. I can tell you for sure that it really lasts, especially in a roll-on perfume. From our perfumer: "Want to regress back to childhood? Start with our wonderful duplication of this Cristina Carlino classic! With the clean, sweet scent of innocence, our Baby Grace® duplication is powdery, feminine and soft with notes of Poppy, Green Accord, Pink Mimosa, Pepper, Creamy White Woods, and Musk. A slice of heaven!"

bamboo hempBamboo Hemp - Bright, fresh and green, this earthy-herbal scent is a blend of bamboo, vetiver and patchouli balanced with hemp and oakmoss.

Bamboo Sugar Cane - Green & fresh! A burst of citrus mellowed and made green by a special blend of herbal notes. Kick in some light notes of roses and jasmine and you've got a really refreshing scent.

Banana Brulee - Honestly, it's so hard to find a good banana scent! It seems 99% of them smell fake or like banana taffy (which is fine, but not what I wanted). This is a decadent blend of ripe (but not too ripe) banana, buttery vanilla and warm cinnamon with a touch of caramel & brown sugar.

Banana Cream Pie - LIMITED EDITION - I have been looking for YEARS for a banana cream pie fragrance that doesn't morph into something nasty and doesn't fade too quickly on the skin. This is it! It's sweet, creamy and light, and while this particular banana doesn't really smell like fresh bananas, it does smell just like I'd expect a fun & playful banana scent to smell. This is a limited edition fragrance, although I did buy enough to last quite a while.

Banyan Fruit & Vetiver - The first time I wore this scent, I knew I had another winner. Fans of our Black Vetyver Cafe will love this because the lighter, fruity notes of Banyan Fruit make it a very summery fragrance. The Vetiver is a fantastic anchor that really makes this scent last, and the Banyan Fruit is juicy & fresh -- not at all cloying or overly sweet. Unique & very clean.

From our perfumer: "The very large, spreading Banyan is a member of the Fig family. A very useful shade tree throughout South Asia; older trees can reach more than 600 feet in diameter, and towering to a height of 90 ft. The Banyan Fruits are orange-red turning scarlet when ripe. With few stalks, they grow very close to the branches. Ripe fruits are very popular with birds and monkeys and are eaten by humans in times of famine.

A very unusual scent, it is at once luscious and earthy, ethereal and fruity...but so haunting. The fruit and floral accord dramatically mellows the Vetiver base note; it is neither too acrid nor overly sweet. Banyan Fruit & Vetiver™ blends Red Fig, Bergamot, Kumquat, Mandarin, Cyclamen, Currant, Cling Peach, Osmanthus, Violet Leaf, Rosewood, Teak, Vetiver and Black Amber."

(Note: I've seen Vetiver -- or Vetyver -- spelled a number of ways, but the distinctive scent is unmistakable)

Bayberry - This has been a favorite for years with those who like a very fresh - yet spicy and warm - fragrance. Wonderfully subtle, it has a dark woody-mossy edge and the tang of fresh cedar. It is like no other Bayberry you've ever tried and you'll soon become addicted to it's captivating aroma.

Bayberry Apple Spice - A super spicy blend that's just what the name implies -- juicy apple, festive bayberry and rich spices. This is SUPER STRONG when used as a Smelling Salt; the aroma will fill your home & make it smell fantastic for the holidays or any time. PLEASE NOTE: Because of the spice content of this scent, it may irritate sensitive skin. It is not recommended for triple-scented products or perfumes. For any leave-on product made with this scent (lotion, perfume, etc) I'd recommend buying the smallest sample size to be sure your skin likes this scent.

Beach House (Avon type) - I'll admit I'm not always impressed with Avon's fragrances. So when I got a sample of this from my perfumer, I was very pleasantly surprised. The fragrance house says this is a blend of eucalyptus, lime and coconut -- and I don't doubt it -- but the synergy of this blend is incredible. If I close my eyes when I smell this, I'm poolside. This is not an ocean scent, but rather a blend of hot summer air, what I'll assume is a mix of suntan lotion scents (though the coconut does not take center stage as you might expect), and that clean, invigorating scent you get from a chlorinated pool. At least that's my interpretation. I just know I keep coming back to smell it again & again.

Bergamot - LIMITED EDITION - A juicy blend of fresh citrus notes -- smells just like true bergamot, with a light, sweet note added to it. Zing!

Bergamot Essential - I looked everywhere for a good fragrance oil to replace my much-beloved (and almost discontinued) Bergamot fragrance, but I couldn't find one that I liked. Then I realized the best scent to replace it with would be the real thing! Bergamot Essential Oil is exceptionally fresh and clean, and is safe for use in bath & body products.

Berry Splash FragranceBerry Splash - Bold, flirty, fruity and fun! This blend starts out with blackberry, peach and apricot top notes which merge with mandarin orange, a little bit of cinnamon and rose, then closes with a touch of woodsy musk. This is a very juicy & long-lasting scent.

Birthday Cake - I'll admit it... I'm on an ongoing quest for the yummiest, most mouthwatering bakery scents out there. I just love them, and so do our customers! When I find one that really strikes me as exceptional, I'm utterly unable to resist buying it! From our perfumer: "This is hands-down the best Birthday Cake we have EVER smelled! Three years in the making, we finally found "THE" perfect blend of moist white cake and hurt-your-teeth sweet Buttercream vanilla frosting!... If you close your eyes and concentrate, you can 'almost' smell the little candy sprinkles. This is not "White Cake" simply renamed to Birthday Cake, ours has that thick, rich Buttercream frosting to set it apart..." If you like our Sugar Cookie fragrance, you'll love Birthday Cake! This is especially nice in our Foaming Bath Butter.

Black (Kenneth Cole for Men type) - Here's another drop-dead sexy scent for men: spicy, sweet, refreshing -- a fresh and fruity blend of sweet spice and woods.

Black Amethyst (Bath & Body Works type) - This alluring scent is a blend of aquatic top notes, bergamot, camellias and lime, and sandalwood and vetiver base notes.

Black Cashmere (Donna Karan type) - This smooth and sexy interpretation of the popular scent by Donna Karan is lustfully spicy and woody with full-bodied patchouli, jasmine and heliotrope.

Black Cherry - We finally found a delicious sweet black cherry that doesn't smell like cough syrup! Rich & super-strong, just one sniff of this berry-licious scent and you'll feel it all the way to your taste buds. Excellent in Scent Sacks.

Black Cherry & Vanilla - A ForYourNose original blend - So when I found this fabulously creamy & sweet vanilla and created my Vanilla Amber masterpiece, I decided to have some fun and see what else would blend well with it. This isn't your mama's Cherry Vanilla -- it's rich and delicious and you'll want to smell it forever.

Black Coconut - For a very long time, I was on a quest for a truly great coconut scent. Suddenly, I'm finding so many that I can be selective and choose my favorites. This is one of them. Creamy, buttery & very rich with a surprising earthiness, this has been described as "Hawaiian Tropic coconut". This reminds me a bit of the best classic coconut incense, from "back in the day".

Black Currant & NectarineBlack Currant & Nectarine - LIMITED EDITION A crisp blend of sun-ripened nectarines and tart black currants. This is fresh & fruity, not overly sweet.

Black Licorice - If you love black licorice, this is for you! This unique blend of star anise, simple syrup and Tahitian vanilla elevates licorice to a whole new level.

Black Raspberry & Vanilla (Bath & Body Works® type) - Sweet (but not too sweet!), fruity, juicy, rich, creamy and positively irresistible, our version of Bath & Body Works' Black Raspberry & Vanilla will make your mouth water! From our perfumer: "Inspired by sun-sweetened, delicious dark berries warmed by Vanilla... Very true to it's Bath & Body Works namesake... only stronger!"

Black Silk & Amber - Such a sexy, sophisticated scent! This is a sensual blend of fresh cotton, crisp ozone, white floral notes, and a base of amber, musk and patchouli.

Black Vetyver Café (Jo Malone type) - Rich & sultry, this smooth blend is like nothing else I've ever smelled. The dulcet, harmonious wood notes take center stage, sweetened by amber, rounded out by a hint of deep, dark coffee and anchored with musk. From our perfumer: "A woody and ambery blend with a hint of citrus followed by notes of red cedar, sandalwood and musks."

Blackberry Latte - I'm always a little cautious when it comes to coffee scents, because my nose doesn't always like them. This is from one of my favorite perfumers, and it's fantastic. This yummy blend of fresh, tart blackberries and sweet, creamy latte has amazing depth and complexity. Todd likes this one, too.

Blackberry Musk - This delightful fragrance combines sweetness of sun-kissed blackberries and the sultry smell of musk for one delicious combo that's neither too sweet, nor too musky.

Blissful Blackberry (Bath and Body Works type) - It's probably pretty obvious that I'm partial to blackberry scents, and this one is exceptionally nice. Rather than a tart & juicy blackberry like my Citrus Blackberry scent (which I also love), this one is smooth and rich, balanced with light floral notes that make it irresistibly wearable.

Bloomin' Peaches - Limited Edition - A great blend of peach, papaya, mango, plumeria, jasmine and musk. Fruity, unique & delicious! If you're looking for a true, juicy & ripe peach scent, we recommend Just Peachy Limited Edition: Our perfumer has discontinued this fragrance blend, and we have a limited amount left in stock. Available while supplies last.

Blue Agava Cacao (Jo Malone type) - What a fascinating and complex scent! This opens with soft notes of lightly sweet and spicy cardamom, with top notes of pink grapefruit, orange blossom, bergamot, bitter orange, and key lime. All that lusciousness is followed by middle notes of blue agave nectar, cacao and sea salt, on a base of sandalwood, french vanilla, vetiver, egyptian musk and a hint of cinnamon. The overall result is a scent that's smooth, sophisticated and soothing.

Blue Cotton Candy - So sweet you'll get a sugar rush! This is the playful scent of fruity, sugary blueberry cotton candy. Great for kids, or for the kid in YOU!

Blue Sugar (Aquolina type) - Wow. Seriously. Never in a million years would I have thought that a men's fragrance with cotton candy notes would be so incredibly appealing. But somehow Aquolina (and with this version, my perfumer) has managed to not only make it masculine, but also sexy as sin.

My perfumer's description is spot on: "Masterfully blended, the cotton candy sweetness of Pink Sugar has evolved into something unmistakably masculine with a darker, more toasted sugar note. This brilliant composition then adds the strength of woods, patchouli, fresh herbs and spices. It's nicely balanced; just complex enough to be interesting without being overly busy or heavy handed.

The fragrance opens with a burst of Toasted Caramelized Sugar quickly yielding to woodsy Cedar and warm Tonka Bean. A heart of Patchouli, Licorice, French Lavender, Heliotrope and Coriander is revealed. Finally, lilting notes of Italian Bergamot and Mandarin are balanced by Star Anise and Fresh Ginger."

Blueberry Cobbler - Finally, a Blueberry Cobbler scent blend that smells like rich blueberries AND a sweet, buttery, bubbling-in-the-pan dessert. We smelled a lot of blueberry scents before we found this one -- and we really think it was worth the wait. This is truly the best of the best. The others try to be Blueberry Cobbler, but this one succeeds.

Bois de Paradis (Parfums Delrae type) - A sophisticated blend that starts with bergamot, drifts to rose, cinnamon and blackberry, and ends with cedar, balsam and amber. This scent should appeal to both men and women.

Botrytis (Ginestet type) - I'm in love with this scent! This warm and sensual blend features honey, fruits and soft flowers with hints of gingerbread. Sophisticated and very pretty, very memorable.

Bread - LIMITED EDITION - The mouthwatering aroma of fresh-baked bread! When I heat tested this scent (think: Smelling Salts) Todd said it smelled just like I was making bread with our bread machine. I've tested a lot of fresh bread scents & this is the best one, hands down.

Brown Sugar & Fig (Bath & Body Works type) - This is a really interesting fragrance that's both sensual and clean. This is not a sweet or bakery brown sugar scent; the focus is on fresh figs. Very nice!

Brown Sugar & NutmegBrown Sugar & Nutmeg - LIMITED EDITION - I've been partial to nutmeg scents lately, and this one is irresistible! Sweet, lush brown sugar and fresh-grated nutmeg are a terrific duo.

Bubble Luscious - Pure bubble gum goodness! Bubble Luscious smells like a juicy pink bubble gum. This playful scent features a terrific blend of strawberry, citrus, coconut and vanilla with the barest hint of spice. This is a little different than my Bubblegum Pop Star fragrance, which has more apple notes. Try them both!

Bubblegum Pop Star - Oooh, yeah! Bubble gum for grown ups! Flirty and juicy, I smell apples and maybe even a hint of spice in the depths of this sweet and gooey deliciousness. This is different than Bubble Luscious, but just as fabulous.

Burberry (Men-type) - We sometimes have a difficult time finding men's fragrances to add to our product line, because they usually need to pass Todd's sniff test before we even pass them along to our testers. That isn't easy because Todd really isn't much of a scent-wearing kind of guy, and he's very honest with me about what he likes and what he doesn't. (If it makes him cough, that's a sure sign he doesn't like it!). When we got our sample of this scent from our perfumer and Todd said he liked it, I knew instantly we had a winner! Light & seductive -- not "in your face" at all. From our perfumer: A citrus blend with a background of woody notes of sandalwood, underlined by cedar and the exotic teakwood. This scent is different... not the heavy woodsy scent you might expect, and very very pleasant, and charming. This is Romeo!!! It's really excellent... While a man would feel comfortable wearing this scent, it really has to be considered uni-gender, because women love it too...

Butt Naked - A customer requested this scent, and because there are so many different fragrances with this name I started my search for a really good one. Wait til you smell what I found! This is a knockout blend of tart granny smith apples, honeydew melon and strawberries with a touch of pears and spice. Fruity, flirty and fun, the more I smell it, the more I like it.

Buttercream Frosting - Satisfy your sweet tooth without the calories! If you like our incredibly popular Vanilla Cream and Birthday Cake fragrances, you'll love our rich Buttercream Frosting fragrance! (Hey, you! Yes, you! Stop licking that lotion off of your arm!) From our perfumer: This Buttercream captures the warm soothing buttery, butterscotch essence of the frosting that we all love. Top notes of vanilla with soft background notes of maple, butter, coconut and honey.

Buttered Rum - This delicious scent is rich, buttery and creamy. Vanilla fans will definitely want to try this -- it's not just for the holidays!

Butterfly Flower (Bath & Body Works type) - This Bath & Body Works duplication is a lovely clean scent that reminds me of their popular Lemongrass Sage fragrance (which I also sell - look for it in my scent list). This starts with a blend of ozone notes and light green florals. At the middle is a subtle blend of lily and sage, and the base is sweet amber, crisp orange flower and a light musk. Fresh and very pretty.

Candy Apple Red (Limited Edition) - This is by far the absolute best candy apple scent I've ever smelled. A perfect balance of sweet candy, crunchy apple, and just a hint of spices. I love this.

Candy Cane - It's back, and better than ever! This is a gorgeous rendition of the classic candy cane scent, with brisk peppermint and a kiss of vanilla sugar. Try it in salt scrubs for a refreshing exfoliator for your feet!

Cannabis Rose (Fresh type) - This is a green and earthy rose that's fresh, not cloying. Top notes are Bulgarian Rose, Pomegranate Flower and Italian Bergamot. The mid notes are an herb-y Cannabis Sativa, Confederate Jasmine and Rich Dark Chocolate, and the basenotes are White Musk, Patchouli and Oolong Tea Leaves.

Cannellini Ricci - Inspired by the little cinnamon stick candies given to wedding guests in Renaissance Italy, this fragrance is a nicely balanced blend of cinnamon with a very light touch of vanilla and sweet cane sugar. The base notes include tonka bean & olive wood, and the middle notes include hazelnut, almond nutmeg & sweet cream. Put them all together & you get a really nice cinnamon that's neither too sweet nor too strong.

Carnival Apple - What's better than a Caramel Apple scent? A blend of Caramel Apple AND Candy Apple! Crisp red apple, sweet gooey caramel and crunchy red candy. When we smelled the sample from our perfumer, we knew we had to have it! I personally like this better than our Caramel Apple scent.

Carrot - If you're into fresh, clean, green & earthy scents, give Carrot a try. The sweetness of freshly juiced carrots is complemented by notes of muguet and citrus, and balanced by a subtle earthy garden aroma. This scent screams SUMMER!

Celtic Moonspice - It's finally here! For those of you who haven't heard of this popular scent, Celtic Moonspice is a friendly blend of subtle spices kissed by a light sweetness. There's cinnamon, clove and nutmeg in there, but it's not as spicy as you'd expect from most spice blends. It's just a nicely balanced fragrance that is very warm and comfy.

Cerulean Blue - An outstanding water scent that's refreshingly clean & unisex, this fragrance is a complex bouquet of carnations, lily of the valley, and hyacinth; underlined by oakmoss and white musk.

Champagne Sugar - LIMITED EDITION - This scents starts with sparkling citrus notes that lead into a fruity-floral blend of fresh pineapple and white hibiscus, followed by a smooth heart of warm woods, musk, vanilla and amber. The result is a scent that's clean and sexy, without being overly sweet, fruity or floral.

Champanilla - This is my own special blend of black vanilla (no bakery notes, just pure vanilla) and a luscious Tibetan champa. Exotic and seductive, champa fans will love this balanced blend.

Chaos (Donna Karan type) - Our interpretation of this discontinued scent by Donna Karan is an alluring blend of myrrh, nutmeg, bergamot, suede and tonka, sandalwood, musk, vanilla, and patchouli. It's refreshing, feminine, fun, sexy, mildly spicy & so wearable you'll wonder how you lived without it.

I am absolutely in love with this scent, and Todd really likes it too (which doesn't happen as often as you'd think).

Cherry Almond - ALL NATURAL - The perfumer has been busy with a new line of ALL NATURAL fragrances that aren't usually available as essential oils. This is a blend of pure essential oils, pure resins, and naturally-derived aromatics. The result is a delicious cherry almond fragrance. To avoid skin sensitization, this is NOT recommended in triple-scented products.

Cherry Blossom (Bath & Body Works type) - Sweet & innocent, this pretty B&BW scent will appeal to fans of our popular Red Clover Tea fragrance. From our perfumer: "This fragrance is *so* true to the actual blossom, not syrupy sweet at ALL! Just clean, fresh, like the blossoms right after a spring shower! Your nose will smell a delicate bouquet of cherry blossom surrounded by freesia and soft delicate musk."

Cherry Vanilla Creme - I smelled a lot of cherry vanilla scents, but was never particularly inpired to add one to my scent list until I smelled this one. This mouthwatering blend of sweet cherries and lush vanilla cream reminds me of cherry ice cream.

Chinatown (Bond No. 9 New York type) - This is the type of fragrance that really appeals to me: it's clean, fresh & has rich undertones of musk and warm woods. Floral, yes, but so complex that non-floral fans will like it too.

From our perfumer: "Chinatown starts initially very sweet, with oriental floral notes in abundance. But the almost cloying sweetness gives way to a fresher floral. Although Gardenia and Tuberose are abundantly evident, they do not overwhelm the basenotes of warm woods, patchouli, tonka bean and spices. Orange blossom and peony are less obvious supporting elements. Overall, the impression is that of a woody floral, very exotic, but sweet and accessible. Very unique, and very feminine. Bottom notes of Sandalwood, Patchouli, Teak, Guaiac Wood and Cedar; middle notes of Ginger, Tonka Bean, Cardamom, Cedar; and top notes of Peach Blossom, Bergamot, Peony, Gardenia, Tuberose, Orange Blossom."

Choco-Mint Torte (was Grasshopper Pie) - This is a mouthwatering blend of creamy mint and sugary pie crust, with subtle chocolate notes to round it out. From our perfumer: "This is a delightful creamy smooth, light minty smell. Just screams DESSERT HEAVEN! Chocolate and mint cream filling, poured into a chocolate cookie crust, and garnished with whipped cream and mint leaves! Can you smell the crust? Oh yes! Will this make your mouth water? Definitely!...If you are expecting just flat chocolate and mint mixed together, please shop elsewhere!"

Chocolate Amber (Bath & Body Works type) - This is not a sweet or candy-like chocolate scent. It takes the mysterious allure of amber and gently wraps it in sensual chocolate. I consider this a unisex scent.

Chocolate Cherry CheesecakeChocolate Cherry Cheesecake - The depth and complexity of this fragrance is amazing. Smooth, rich cheesecake topped with melted chocolate and gooey sweet cherries. *drool* This has an amazing balance and smells SO much better than many similar scents I've smelled. This one has no icky, musty chocolate and no fake, cough-syrupy cherries. Definitely ForYourNose-worthy. :)

I love this!

Chocolovers (Aquolina type) - Fans of Aquolina's sweet Pink Sugar fragrance will be happy to know our perfumers have been hard at work perfecting our version of Aquolina Chocolovers.

From our perfumer: "Nothing is as delicious as Chocolate... except maybe Chocolate that you can wear! Selectiva® has done it again with this new scent from the perfumer who brought you Aquolina Pink Sugar™... Delicious, unabashedly sensual and euphoric with essential oil notes of Bergamot, Orange, Lemon, Lily of the Valley, Coriander, Hazelnut, Vanilla, grounded in Malt and Musk. Unlike a simple "foody" type scent, this fragrance is light and very erotic.

It opens with a wave of sweet citrus that settles down to a hint of Orange and Bergamot, similar to the citrus notes in Pink Sugar. Following the light-hearted citrus, a rich, Nutty Hazelnut Malt and unmistakable sweet Chocolate establish the base notes along with warm Vanilla Musk. The strength of the scent is in the middle notes, where Lily of the Valley and Coriander lighten it with a spicy floral accord.

An intense, mesmerizing blend that has a sweet delicacy, making it wearable and so likeable, this scent will be the MUST-HAVE of 2006.

Chrome (Loris Azzaro type) - Don't ask me how it does it, but this scent begs to be touched. This is a clean & sexy masculine blend with sharp, crisp, tangy citrus notes. Hot!

Cinnamon Apple Peach - I've been wanting to add a nice skin-safe apple cinnamon fragrance to my fragrance list for a while, but they all seemed to smell the same and none of them thrilled me... until now. This is a rich blend of spicy cinnamon blended with juicy, ripe apples, and fresh peaches. It's still primarily a spiced apple cider type of scent, but the peach notes seem to add more depth and sophistication. This is NOT a bakery or apple pie scent. Please note: As with all scents containing cinnamon, you need to be cautious when ordering triple-scented products, as it may cause skin irritation, especially if you have sensitive skin.

Cinnamon Bun - Another fresh-baked scent! This is a blend of cinnamon, vanilla, brown sugar and cake. Mmmm!

Cinnamon Cowboy - Hold onto your saddle, this original Aromagik blend may surprise you! We take an almost earthy cinnamon (the kind that's unsweetened & woody, like it's fresh off the tree) and marry it with just the right amount of our sumptuous leather fragrance. The result is a balanced blend that smells really, really good.

Cinnamon Sandalwood - LIMITED EDITION - Two great scents that smell great together! Todd really likes this one, so we decided it was a "keeper". Our perfumer says this is more cinnamon than sandalwood, and they call it a "mellow" scent. We couldn't agree more.

Cinnamon Stick - We had a request for a straight cinnamon fragrance, and Cinnamon Stick an excellent one! This is definitely cinnamon, straight up! If you like this and want to try something with a sweeter touch, try our Cinnamon Bun. Please note that cinnamon fragrances will irritate sensitive skin, and this is obviously no exception. If in doubt, maybe try this in a small sample, or in a non-skin product such as a Linen & Room Spray or a Scent Sack. Not recommended as a roll-on perfume or alcohol-free perfume.

Citrus Blackberry - A refreshing blend of tart, juicy citrus and rich blackberries! Crisp & wearable! This scent makes an especially powerful Scent Sack. This is another personal favorite.

Citrus Linen H2O - Even the name sounds fresh & inviting! The top notes are clean lemon and zesty lime. The orange blossom and lemongrass middle notes add an herbal quality to the blend and the fragrance is balanced with base notes of jasmine, subtle woods, and powdery musk.

Clary Sage Essential Oil -ALL NATURAL - This all-natural scent is herbaceous, sweet, fresh and green with hints of wood and camphor. In aromatherapy, it's known for its relaxation and balancing properties.

Classic Vanilla - Always a favorite, this classic vanilla fragrance is simply lovely!

Clean (type) - Our duplication of this snappy boutique-only perfume is remarkable. From our perfumer: "Wow!!! Have you smelled this extraordinarily popular boutique fragrance?!?! It's amazing!!! Super-clean and lemony fresh -- like Ivory Soap if you brought it into the 21st century with a gigantic shot of extra personality, strength, and pizzazz. Top notes of black currant, essential oil of lime, and lemon oil from Italy lead to a soapy, aldehydic midsection highlighted by rose, jasmine, pink grapefruit, and geranium, with violet, white musk, and soft woods notes in the drydown...Perfectly unisex -- this fragrance would be at home in products for people of any age and gender..."

Clean Cotton (Yankee type) - It doesn't get much cleaner than this! Very bright without being overbearing, this is a scent that will make "fresh scent" lovers say, "Mmmmm". Delightful as a linen spray, this is also great as a personal fragrance. From our perfumer: "Fresh top ozonal notes blended with clean heart notes offers the fragrance of fresh folded laundry."

Clothesline Fresh - (also an ECONOMY SCENT) - A fresh floral scent that smells like clean laundry and sunshine. Fresh rain water, lily, dianthus and citrus blossoms are balanced with undertones of soft woods and a light musk.

Coco Mango - A summery blend of ripe mango and sweet toasted coconut, with hints of strawberry, elderberry and papaya, rounded out with rich vanilla. I tested a lot of coco mango scents, and the coconut was usually overpowered or smelled fake. This one is just right!

Coco Mango Smoothie - A ForYourNose original blend - I took my already-fabulous Coco Mango scent and mixed it with a sweet vanilla to give it a creamy boost. The result is absolutely delicious, and it really enhances the coconut.

Coconut - This is a subtle, light scent that smells like fresh coconut milk. If you're looking for a sweeter coconut scent, try our Vanille Coco (type) fragrance. This does not necessarily make a strong Scent Sack.

Coconut Cream Pie - I suppose I need another sweet coconut scent like a cat needs roller skates, but when I smelled this delicious scent I just couldn't help myself. I've smelled -- and rejected -- a lot of coconut cream fragrances. This is very true, with a terrific balance of creamy coconut and buttery pie crust.

Coconut Lime - This summery scent is less herbal and more sweet and coconutty than my Coconut Lime Verbena scent. This is a delectable fruity blend and you'll love the way it fills a room when you use it in Smelling Salts.

Coconut Lime Verbena (Bath & Body Works type) - This fresh & clean fragrance is a blend of coconut and tangy lime with hints of verbena, vanilla and musk. We tested several different versions of this awesome Bath & Body Works blend before we finally found one that pleased us. We think this version is very true to the original.

Coconut Milk Lavender - Two great scents that smell great together. The lavender is mild and gentle, and the coconut milk and adds just the right amount of creamy sweetness, without being too sweet. Together they make a scent that's relaxing, sophisticated and very fresh.

Coconut Orange Cake (also an ECONOMY SCENT) - This smells good enough to eat! This is a blend of sweet coconut, fluffy orange buttercream frosting and white cake.

Coconut Pear Coconut Pear (also an ECONOMY SCENT) - Have you smelled this? What a terrific pairing; it's amazing how well these two scents play together. The lightly sweet coconut milk balances with the juicy, slightly tart pear and the blend of the two becomes this really neat, mellow aroma that's almost herbal in its freshness. My nose loves this scent.

Coconut Pineapple - LIMITED EDITION - Not your ordinary piña colada fragrance! This blend is enticingly rich & creamy, and you smell more coconut than you usually get in other blends. Yum!

Cookie Jar - Cookie Jar is a deliciously sweet & rich sugar cookie scent, with extra buttery notes and a touch of almond for nuttiness. Mouthwatering!

Cool Citrus Basil (Bath & Body Works type) - This zesty scent is a fresh citrus floral ozone blend. Energizing and perfect for a nice clean, wake-me-up scent for both men & women. A deliciously accurate duplication of the popular Bath & Body Works original. If you like this, try our Watermoss -- an Aromagik original blend of Cool Citrus Basil (type) and Sapmoss (type).

Cotton Blossom (Bath and Body Works type) - A fresh & subtle blend of jasmine, violet and gardenia with a sparkle of lemon zests on a drydown of vanilla and musk. Fresh, fresh, fresh! If you like this scent, you may also like our Mystic Breeze

Country Apple (Bath & Body Works type) - It took me a while to find a duplication of this scent that was up to my picky-nose standards, but it's finally here and I hope you'll like it as much as I do. Obviously, fresh ripe apple is the main note, but it's supported by peach, lime and musk.

Country Sweet Muffins - (also an ECONOMY SCENT) - This is like a butterscotch bread pudding with hints of bakery spices and wrapped in maple sugar and vanilla beans.

Covet (Sarah Jessica Parker type) - This fresh & woody blend designed by Sarah Jessica Parker is softened by light florals and gentle herbs. Very pretty, subtle yet bold. From our perfumer: "Opening with citrusy lemon and herbal lavender, it follows with a subtle, romantic chocolatey aroma and a burst of floral bouquet, which quickly dissolve into musky woods and amber. It is earthy but the herbal and floral elements persist and provide a lift to the composition. Notes include Soft Wet Greens, Rose Geranium, Sicillian Lemon, Lavender, Dark Chocolate, Honeysuckle, Magnolia, Muguet, Musk, Vetiver, Bois de Cashmere, Teakwood and Amber."

Cranberry CassiaCranberry Cassia - (Also an ECONOMY SCENT) A lush, warm blend of cranberries and cassia (Chinese cinnamon) with hints of peach, raspberry, strawberry and a touch of vanilla. This is more smooth and less sweet or tart than a lot of other cranberry blends I've smelled.

Cranberry Orange Spice - Cranberries and oranges just seem to go together, and this blend is exceptionally nice. Throw in some satsuma, yuzu, tangerine, peach and hints of spice, and you've got a really terrific scent that's tart and spicy. (This is replacing my "Cranberry Orange Sorbet")

Crazy Caramel Corn (Bath & Body Works type) - I think what's crazy about this fragrance is that it doesn't really smell much like caramel -- but it's a spot on duplication of hot, buttered movie theater popcorn. I got this as a special request for a friend of mine who just loves it, and I'm glad I did. This is a really strong scent that makes an exceptionally nice Scent Sack.

Creme Bouquet (Stila type) -From my perfumer's description, I wasn't really expecting to like this scent. After wearing it for an hour, I knew I had to have it. This is a sweet & creamy blend of vanilla, pink lilac and lily of the valley. I may be wrong (because it's been years since I smelled it), but I'm going say this reminds me a bit of the old Love's Baby Soft perfume. Innocent & sexy all at the same time. What a combo. :)

Creamy Mocha Latte - The problem with a lot of chocolate and/or coffee scents is they tend to smell harsh, fake, or like bad musty chemicals. So when I got a whiff of this scent, I knew I had a winner. The rich, chocolate-laced coffee and tempered by sweet vanilla cream. This is a must have for wearing, and in candles it's absolutely fantastic.

Crisp & Candied - Everyone around here loves this scent! This is a fantastic blend of citrus, spices, and woods. From our perfumer: "This fragrance begins with top notes of orange peels, apples, and lemons; followed by middle notes of clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg; and well-rounded with base notes of cinnamon bark and woods."

Crystal Blue Waters (Bath & Body Works type) (also an ECONOMY SCENT) - Clean and refreshing, this is a cool blend of hyacinth, hydrangea flowers, and lily of the valley; rounded out with ozone-y notes of fresh green ferns, vetyver, and cyclamen. I love this scent!

Crystal Ginger Tea - I LOVE this fragrance! This is a crystallized white ginger with just the right amount of citrus, tea and light florals. I could smell it all day and not get tired of it (and that's saying a lot for a fickle nose like mine). Fresh & clean, not overly sweet. Gorgeous! From our perfumer: "It opens with a burst of sunny lemon peel and yuzu, followed by hints of jasmine and peach flower, delicate white tea, bitter melon, ginger and nutmeg."

Cucumber - Absolutely wonderful! We tried a lot of cucumber scents before we finally found one that smells like a true cucumber and not like grass. Crisp, clean, and clear with the unbelievably sweet edge of a ripe cucumber, this great scent finally has been captured in a bottle, and is guaranteed to capture your heart with it's happy freshness.

Cucumber Cantaloupe - This is a fun new twist on cucumbers and melons. Very fresh and summery, the cantaloupe adds a slightly more pronounced aroma to the blend than you usually get from a straight honeydew & cucumber scent.

Cucumber Mint - A crisp, clean fusion of green cucumber and soothing mint. What a terrific combination!

Cupcake - When I asked Todd to smell this scent and give me his opinion, he said it smelled more like a yellow cake than any of the other cake scents he has smelled. It's a fabulous blend of butter, vanilla and sugar - like a fresh cupcake, hot out of the oven. Try wearing Cupcake and Buttercream Frosting or Vanilla Cream at the same time, for a delicious scent combination! If you like this, you may also like Birthday Cake.

Curve Crush (W type)Curve Crush (For Women - Liz Claiborne type) - I'll start this off by saying this may NOT be an exact duplicate of the original. But boy, is it nice! This is a powdery, soft floral with hints of vanilla and musk, that smells clean, pretty and sophisticated.

Daffodil Fields (Bath & Body Works type) - LIMITED EDITION - We've been looking for a good daffodil fragrance for quite a while, and we finally found one. This is such a nice floral that even Todd likes it. From our perfumer: "The aroma of fresh picked spring daffodils with soft notes of jasmine, chamomile, and lily of the valley."

Daisy (Marc Jacobs type) - Summer! Even those who don't usually dig florals will want to give this one a try. The top notes are jasmine and tangy lemon, the middle notes are daylily, rose petals and african violet, and the base is cedar, patchouli and musk (none of which overpower the blend, for those of you who aren't into patchouli or woodsy scents). Try wearing this when you want to feel extra pretty and soft.

Dark Patchouli - Best seller! Earthy & classic, for this scent I use 100% natural patchouli essential oil. If you like a strong, pure patchouli scent, this is for you. This fragrance gained popularity in the 60's and it continues to be a favorite of our customers, both male and female. If you like patchouli but prefer it to be mellowed & a bit sweeter, I recommend my Patchouli Sandalwood fragrance.

NOTE: Because of the extremely high cost of patchouli essential oil, I will be using a Patchouli Blend fragrance oil in all my bar soaps untiil further notice. Patchouli Blend would also be a great choice for anyone who has a sensitivity to essential oils, and is especially recommended for triple-scented products to minimize the possibility of skin irritation.

Date Nut Strudel - LIMITED EDITION - This is a VERY strong scent that makes especially nice Scent Sacks. The emphasis is on fruity, with just a hint of bakery and nuts. Sweet but not cloying, I keep coming back to this scent because it's really different than any other fragrance in my scent list.

Diptyque Baies (type) - From our perfumer: "Paris-based Diptyque is a leader in the world of high-end candles and home scents, and Baies is the best-selling of their 45 candle fragrances. Baies is an amazing blend of black currant, black currant leaf, and Bulgarian rose -- the result is a startlingly fresh and complex accord that strikes the nose as alternately green, spicy, floral, and fruity."

Dragon Quest - Exotic, haunting, sweet and mysterious are just a few of the words that come to mind when describing this extremely sophisticated and very complex fragrance. It's moody, warm and very appealing with touches of amber, incense and a tiny hint of patchouli making the layering of this fragrance something special. If you are a fan of the more sensual scents such as amber, myrrh, and sandalwood, you'll go wild for Dragon Quest!

Dream Spirit - A lovely, feminine blend that artfully combines so many of our favorite scents. This soft scent makes me feel warm & content. From our perfumer: "Top notes of oakmoss and lilies; middle notes of ylang ylang and jasmine; bottom notes of amber, musk, and sandalwood."

Earth Spirit - A contrast of light and dark, Earth Spirit is a rich earthy blend of Patchouli Essential Oil balanced with hints of crisp red apples and sweet summer flowers. Patchouli fans, rejoice! An Aromagik original fragrance blend!

Egyptian Dragon - This exotic fragrance is a blend of myrrh, dragon's blood and patchouli, combined with rose and jasmine on a base of woods and musk. This is similar to my popular Dragon Quest scent, but it's fresher & less sweet.

Egyptian Musk - A Best Seller! Soft, mystically refreshing fruity accords dance on top of warm, tender musk. Woody notes capture the overall feel of this mesmerizing aroma. Romantic, sensual & very wearable.

Elements of Bamboo - I knew at first sniff that this was a "must have" scent. This alluring oriental beauty is a harmonious blend of bamboo and cedar entwined with lemon, tangerine and ginger. Exotic, cooling, refreshing and very unisex.

Energy - We sampled a lot of citrus blends before settling on this one. We think it's that good! A mouthwatering blend of tangerine, orange & grapefruit with sweet tropical highlights. Energy is perfect for people who love citrus scents, and for anyone who wants a lush, sweet citrus scent. This is very similar to a fragrance other companies are calling "Fruit Slices" (which will be available soon in our No-Wick Candles).

Eucalyptus Spearmint (Bath & Body Works type) - A refreshing blend of eucalyptus and spearmint. This blend is beautifully well-balanced; the eucalyptus doesn't overpower or smell too medicinal. It smells...just right!

Euphoric - This is a nicely balanced, long-lasting blend with a generous amount of essential oils, including jasmine, rose and sandalwood. If you're looking for a "mostly natural" scent, you should give this a sniff.

The Exact Friction of the Stars (Pilar & Lucy type) - I just had to find out why everyone was raving about this scent. Now I know! Gentle & lightly sweet (not as sweet as, say, Pink Sugar), this sexy scent is a blend of rich vanilla, creamy chocolate and hints of coconut cream pie. Best of all, even with all those sweet notes this manages to smell light & fresh.

Falling In Love (Philosophy type) - I really love Philosophy's fragrances. They're just... so wearable. They're sophisticated and playful at the same time. This is our 4th Philosophy scent duplicate, joining our incredibly popular versions of Amazing Grace (type), Baby Grace (type), and Pure Grace (type).

From our perfumer: "Our duplicate of Philosophy's Falling In Love® fragrance is a faithful rendition of the scent that was 'created for one reason and one reason only... to make a woman feel and smell absolutely, positively, sexy.' This intricate scent is a blend of sweet vanilla top notes, with a floral heart and a blackberry musk base with a touch of amber...

'You need this product if...
- you like lacy lingerie but don't wear it- now you can!
- you want to add a sensual evening scent to your fragrance collection
- you want to feel and smell sexy
- you are a hopeless romantic' "

Field of Flowers (Philosophy type) - If you like fresh and clean floral scents, this is for you! This is a feminine blend of jasmine, bergamot and peony. Very pretty!

Fizzy Pop (Wild Berry Incense type) - Remember the Fizzy Pop incense we used to sell? We loved that scent, and so did a lot of you. We got requests for this scent in bath and body scents, even back then. I tested a lot of fragrances, looking for one that would come close to that citrusy, tangy lemon-lime-grapefruit scent with just a hint of bitter and the effervescence of soda water. This is it! This is more tart and complex than the other "lemon-lime soda" scents I tested.

Flirt With Me - Kicky fruits blended with sweet florals makes this fragrance fresh, sexy & very appealing! From our perfumer: "A festive and fun fragrance that begins with fresh citrus top notes of grapefruit, orange zests, and tangerine; middle notes of strawberries, apples, pears, rose petals and jasmine; with sexy bottom notes of vetiver, white musk, and ylang ylang."

Flirtation (Victoria's Secret, Secret 55 type) -- LIMITED EDITION - A soft, feminine and very pretty version of a discontinued Victoria's Secret fragrance. Bottles of the original sell for big bucks on eBay. From our perfumer: "The aroma of soft amber musk with hints of fresh greenery, mandarin, and lime with a nice vanilla background."

Flowerbomb (Viktor & Rolf type) - With a name like "Flowerbomb" you might expect an overwhelming blend of sharp florals that assault your nose. That is NOT the case with this exquisite fragrance based on the original by the Dutch fashion designers, Viktor & Rolf. Instead you get a fresh and sweetly innocent blend of light florals, teas, bergamot trending down to light musks and patchouli.

Fly Me To The Moon - A seductively sexy scent with notes of exotic woods, musk & oakmoss, with a splash of fresh lime followed by a layer of subtle florals & cyclamen. If you like "The Very Thought of You", I think you'll like this one too. Our perfumer calls this a masculine scent, so men should like it -- but I like to wear it so much I'm calling it unisex.

Frankincense & Myrrh - This sweet, sensual blend is an exotic combination of Moroccan Rose, Egyptian Sandalwood, Madagascar Vanilla, East Indian Patchouli, A bouquet of Cedar, and underlined by Italian Orange, Spanish Cistus & a sweet musky background. This is more of a sweet frank & myrrh blend rather than a smoky, traditional frank & myrrh blend. If you like this, you'll probably like our Amber fragrance.

French Vanilla & Oak - It took a while to find a vanilla oak scent that made my picky nose happy, but I think you'll agree it was worth the wait. This is such a beautiful synergy of gentle, non-bakery vanilla and clean oak! Not too sweet, not too woody, just a very sophisticated and clean blend of the two. This works just as well in bath products and perfumes as it does as a home fragrance. Try it in Smelling Salts!

Fresh Banana - This is like bananas that are still slightly green, right when they taste and smell the best, before they get too ripe. My nose loves this scent.

Fresh Outdoors - This multifaceted scent really brings to mind the feeling of being outdoors on a beautiful day. Fresh ozone and citrus lead to a floral blend of jasmine and lily, then it's all balanced with a little cedar and pine and a hint of warm spice and clear musk.

Fresh Pineapple - I've searched for years to find a good pineapple scent that didn't turn funky or fade when you wear it, and I finally found one! This is a really nice fresh pineapple scent, with just the right amount of juicy sweetness.

Fresh Pineapple & Tuscan Cypress fragrance description

A ForYourNose.com original blend

This blend is amazing, if I do say so myself. The hearty, woodsy cypress is perfectly balanced by juicy fresh pineapple.

Fresh Sugar Cane (Fresh's Sugar type) - This is not a sweet fragrance like some of our other sugar scents (our new Pink Sugar type, for example - YUM!). Instead, this is a sugar that screams "CLEAN"! It starts with sparkling citrus notes including bergamot and Brazilian sweet oranges, then leads to a flirtatious floral middle with white lily, heliotrope and petitgrain, and finally a succulent - yet subtle - embrace of amber, caramel and vanilla. Fresh Sugar Cane gets two thumbs up from Todd. If you like this scent, try our Clean (type)

Fresh Waterfall Mist (Bath & Body Works type) - A fresh floral bouquet with a touch of "ozone". This is a great "water" scent and should make "Rain" lovers happy. One of our testers has declared this his "new favorite scent".

Frosted Lime Cupcake - This is awesome! We've been testing a lot of cupcake fragrances, and this is simply fantastic. From our perfumer: "This fragrance begins with top notes of Persian lime and lemon zests; followed by middle notes of meringue; and well rounded with base notes of Royal vanilla icing and creamed cake." Wear it and smell positively edible!

Fruity Loops - My first reaction to this scent was, "Why would I want to smell like a breakfast cereal?" But then I tested it in a body lotion and decided it smelled pretty darn yummy. And why not? It's a blend of all the things I love: lemon, lime and grapefruit zests, vanilla sugar, and hints of lemongrass lily and verbena to round it out. Follow your nose!

Fudge Brownie - Smells just like a chocolate brownie, with a slight hint of walnuts. Rich & delicious, and a personal favorite. This is an EXCELLENT chocolate scent!

Garden Mint (Bath & Body Works Type) - A clean, fresh & inviting blend of spearmint, green lettuce and rain. Smells like a walk in an herb garden!

Gardenia - If you are a lover of the true scent of Gardenia, then this one is an absolute must. Sophisticated and beautiful, yet subtle and delicate, it faithfully captures the essence of the Gardenia flower without the strong and overwhelming undertones that synthetically manufactured scents all too frequently have. A wonderful and multi-layered aroma that you'll never tire of using.

Gentle Girl (Limited Edition) - We got a sample of Gentle Girl from our perfumer, and I absolutely could not stop sniffing it. Utterly feminine and soft - and appropriate for gentle girls of all ages! Here's how our perfumer describes Gentle Girl: "... a lovely, soft blend of light floral and powder with just a hint of sweetness. Very feminine, indeed!" They also say this will appeal to those who don't usually like florals. I'll go a step farther & say this will also appeal to those who don't normally like powdery scents. (Like me!)

This is a very subtle fragrance -- not a strong one -- that seems to "bloom" as it warms with your body heat. Don't expect a "knock me over" scent right out of the bottle or jar. This also means it doesn't necessarily make an ideal scent for Scent Sacks or Linen Sprays.

Limited edition because I'm not sure I can get this from my perfumer on an ongoing basis, but we're planning to carry it as long as we can get it from our perfumer.

Ginger Fig - From our perfumer: "An exotic, fruity blend, with top notes of lemon, ginger, and orange leading to a warm middle of fig, plum, clover, and honeysuckle. Bottom notes of vanilla, sandalwood, and heliotrope add sweetness and staying power. All in all, a rich, deep, complex fragrance."

Ginger Gelato - This is an interesting combination of crystalized ginger and creamy Italian gelato. The ginger adds a warm perfumey quality to the blend.

Ginger Milk - A deliciously exotic scent with notes of ginger flowers, nutmeg, bergamot, coriander, with a heart of peach, jasmine, ginger root, ending with hints of musk and sandalwood. After wearing Ginger Milk for several days, I came to the conclusion that the underlying scent that really clings is almost a sweet gingery-sassafras fragrance. This is surprisingly wearable; I can't get enough of it!

Gingerbread - Warm gingerbread, fresh out of the oven. This is an excellent blend of ginger & soft spiced cookie, without being too sweet. Terrific for the holidays, or year 'round.

Gingerbread Applesauce (also an ECONOMY SCENT) - More than a spiced apple, more than a mulled cider, this unique blend smells just like the name implies -- like fresh-baked gingerbread and warm applesauce. Sweet and spicy, but not cloying or overbearing. For me this was love at first sniff.

Gingercakes - This is so much more rich and complex than a regular gingerbread scent, and I just love it. It has top notes of orange, lemon and bergamot, balanced with middle notes of ginger, nutmeg, honey and clove, and rounded out with base notes of vanilla bean and cocoa. Please note: This is a fantastic fragrance for scenting your home, but the spice level in this scent may cause skin irritation so it should NOT be used in triple-scented products or perfumes.

Glamorous (Ralph Lauren type) - Our interpretation of the scent by Ralph Lauren. A soft, refreshing floral with musk, vetiver and lily. Very feminine and delicate.

Grapefruit Blossom - We've taken a fragrance that's delicious and popular all by itself, and given it a playfully fresh twist! The tartness of Pink Grapefruit is balanced beautifully by the sweetness of exotic, tropical Tuberose. This is a foryournose.com original fragrance blend.

Grapefruit JasmineGrapefruit Jasmine - This is a perfectly balanced blend of tart, juicy grapefruit and heady, sweet jasmine. The combination is a very fresh and feminine fragrance.

Grapefruit Mango - Quite possibly the perfect summer scent, this is a delightfully refreshing blend of two types of grapefruit combined with juicy mango, and anchored by middle notes of cucumber and honeydew, all on a vanilla base. I absolutely loved the skin tests of this scent; it wears extremely well.

Green Apple - Freshly sliced apple enhanced by hints of orange peel, pineapple & green notes on a subtle background of musk (for staying power). Sharp and tangy, the tartness and refreshing smell of the combined high notes of apple and pineapple will have you reaching for this again and again. Best of all, this doesn't smell like Jolly Ranchers (not that there's anything wrong with that, if that's what you're looking for). A big hit with our testers! By the way, this is the fragrance that "put us on the map", so to speak, when it was featured in an article in Cosmopolitan magazine.

Green Apple & Pink Sugar - A FORYOURNOSE ORIGINAL SCENT - For all you Pink Sugar (type) lovers out there, I came up with this really fun blend of tart green apple, creamy vanilla and Pink Sugar (type), with more emphasis on sweet & creamy than tart.

<== (plus I absolutely LOVE the crazy photo I found!)

Green Apple & Vanilla - A mouthwatering blend of green apple and rich, carmelized vanilla sugar. As you wear it, the vanilla base notes take on an almost magical quality, smooth, creamy and very sensual. The vanilla takes center stage in this blend, and the kiss of tart green apple is just enough to keep it from being too sugary. My testers have wanted a green apple & vanilla blend for a long time, and I think I've finally found one that's (dare I say it?)... perfect.

Green Clover & Aloe - You want fresh? I'll give you fresh! This is the epitome of all things green and lovely. If you like bright herbal scents, this is for you. Equally fantastic as a body cream as it is in linen sprays and soaps. This was hugely popular with my testers.

Green Tea & Cucumber (Bath & Body Works type) - Clean, fresh, cool & sooo green! I fell in love with this scent combo immediately when I got my sample from our perfumer. The two fragrances just seem to play so well together! From our perfumer: "A green herbaceous bouquet with citrus and melon notes reminiscent of tea."

Green Tea & Lemongrass - Two fresh & clean scents that smell great together. This has an exceptionally nice dry down when worn. From our perfumer: "This bright and natural smelling citrus begins with a top note of orange Valencia, bergamot tea and plum wine. The heart combines jasmine, violet, lavender and orange flowers. The dry down is a clean citrus musk. This fragrance oil contains natural essential oils, including Jasmin."

Haiku - (also an ECONOMY SCENT) A sweet & fruity blend of ripe pear and apples with a very subtle touch of flowers. Definitely fruity & fun.

Light as spoken words
Eastern Pears and Apples meld
Stays heavy in mind

Hawaiian White Ginger - Fresh, clean and unforgettable! We originally got this scent to blend with Patchouli (stay tuned!), but we decided it was such a terrific scent that we'd offer it all by itself. This is not heavy & spicy like traditional "gingerbread" ginger; I'd say it's more like a bright herbal scent. From our perfumer: A sophisticated but subtle fresh floral blend of Wild Roses, fresh cut grass and Carolina Jasmine with a Sweet Orange nuance. It's fresh & clean & the ginger is definite.

Dream Angels "Heavenly" (Victoria's Secret type) - Clean, green, and begging to be worn! This dreamy scent is anchored beautifully with the sandalwood and musk. "A complex blend of floral and woody notes. Ozone and green notes mingle into the heart of the fragrance, which includes lavender and muguet. The undertones consist of sweet woody notes of sandalwood and touches of powder and musk."

Hello Sugar (Bath & Body Works type)Hello Sugar (Bath & Body Works type) - You'd think I'd have enough lemon bakery scents already, but this is so completely irresistible that I had to have it. This is a flirty sweet-tart lemon layered with sugar and buttery shortbread. If you want a sweet, fresh lemon without the bakery notes, try my Lemon Sugar (type) fragrance. But if you're like me and you adore bakery scents, you'll love this fragrance.

Homemade Cheesecake - I'm extra excited about this fragrance because not only is it a mouthwatering scent all on its own, but I'm using it to make some deeeelicious blends, too! This is slightly tart (just like a real cheesecake) and creamy sweet, with notes of graham cracker, sweet butter and vanilla, cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, and a touch of almond. Blends are coming soon!

Honey & Oatmeal (also an ECONOMY SCENT) - - LIMITED EDITION - A classic comfort scent! This is a scent for sweet honey lovers with just a touch of gentle oatmeal. Honey & Oatmeal is less creamy than my Almond, Milk & Honey fragrance.

Honey Harvest (L'Occitane type) - I've had several customers ask for a good honey scent, and I think this one is exceptional. A comforting blend of warm beeswax & fresh honey with hints of almond and oatmeal.

Honeybell Orange - Honeybell oranges are the sweetest, juiciest oranges we've ever tasted! For those of you who have not been fortunate enough to experience a Honeybell Orange, here's a little info about them: Available only for a few weeks in January every year, Honeybells are a hybrid of Dancy Tangerines and Duncan Grapefruits. One Honeybell grower describes the flavor as a combination of orange, grapefruit, peach and strawberry, with a hint of honey. They're usually shipped with complementary bibs -- they're that juicy. This is a dripping-down-your-chin sweet orange scent.

Oh, and if you'd like to taste the real thing, this company is terrific: http://www.honeybell.com

Honeysuckle & White Patchouli (Victoria's Secret type)Honeysuckle & White Patchouli (Victoria's Secret type) - To my nose, this doesn't really smell like either honeysuckle or patchouli, but rather an interesting fusion of the two. This is a warm and seductive blend, very upscale and dramatic.

Honeysuckle Kiss - New Formula (as of 9/9/07) - We've found a honeysuckle scent that we like even better than our original, so we're delighted to add it to our fragrance lineup. Sweet, rich honeysuckle, with terrific staying power.

Hydrogen - I got a sample of this fragrance from my perfumer several months ago, but my fragrance oil budget was a bit tight at the time so I didn't order it. I've been thinking about it ever since, and I finally decided I just had to have it. This is an incredibly fresh-smelling, unisex fragrance. Clean, incredibly sexy & quite wearable. From our perfumer: "Top fruity notes of apple, grapefruit, peach and leafy greens; with middle notes of lily, lavender, rose and violet; and finally base notes with amber, sandalwood, and raspberry musk."

Iced Lemon Biscotti - A customer suggested this scent, and I was delighted to be able to find it for her. This is a terrific lemon bakery scent that's heavier on the butter notes than my Lemon Cream Cheese Cupcake fragrance. You can really smell the biscotti in this one.

Imagine...Happiness (Bath & Body Works type) (also an ECONOMY SCENT) - This cheerful blend of fruits and flowers begins with peach, lime and soft green petals. The heart combines white orchid, creamy rose and lilies of the valley. The drydown is a bright floral musk. Terrific!

Imagine...Love (Bath & Body Works type) - A top note of sweet pineapple and bergamot leads to a soft floral blend of white cedar, woody violet and night blooming jasmine. The drydown is a sweet balsam, velvety amber, sandalwood and musk. Very nice!

Imagine...Peace (Bath & Body Works type) - Imagine a beautiful white musk with top notes of citrus and jasmine. The heart blends soft violet, honeysuckle and white lilies. The dry down is a sensual blend of ylang ylang and musk. Very popular!

Indian Sandalwood - My original Sandalwood fragrance is very popular, but I've had a few requests for a more traditional, woodsy sandalwood. Here you go!

Instant Karma (Lush® Karma type) - Instant Karma isn't just the name of this kicky Patchouli blend -- it's also a rockin' John Lennon tune. It doesn't get much better than that. ;) From our perfumer: "Clear and focus the mind, reawaken the senses with this fragrance based upon the Lush® Karma perfume. A meditative blend of patchouli, sweet orange, lavendin, pine, lemongrass and elelmi, with notes of incense, amber and musk to ground it. You'll love the tenacious and hypnotic effect of this sensual fragrance and real esssential oil blend."

Italian Cream Cake - Another incredible scent, inspired by traditional Italian treats! Our bakery-scent fans will adore this mouthwatering blend of sweet white sugar, buttermilk, shredded coconut and a touch of pure vanilla extract.

It's A Sin - An erotic blend of gardenia, exotic tuberose, sweet vanilla and sexy musk, this is so sensual and alluring. It feels good to be bad! (Leather teddy optional)

Japanese Cherry Blossom (Bath & Body Works type) - This much-requested duplicate has quickly become a favorite around here. The more I smell it, the more I like it. This is a rich, complex and well-balanced blend. From our perfumer: "Opening with very fresh and delicate top notes of Mandarin, Sparkling Quince, Asian Pear and Fuji Apple, the scent evolves... like the earliest chilly days of spring. Cool days, soft petals falling on ground just emerging from under a mantle of melting snow. At it's heart is the bouquet of oriental florals...Japanese Cherry Blossom, Leafy Green Accord, White Jasmine, Butterfly Lily, Kyoto Rose, Mimosa Petals and Hedione. The smell of the earth, warmed by sunshine and woodsy freshness provide a foundation warmed by the comfort notes of musks, incense and sweet vanilla. Base notes include Vanilla Rice, Imperial Amber, Silk Musk, Violet, Cinnamon Incense, Himalayan Cedarwood and Creamy Sandalwood."

Jasmine - A very light, Jasmine bouquet. It can be difficult to duplicate the delicacy of Jasmine, and yet still have a fragrance that can endure. Some perfumers go overboard and offer jasmines that are really heavy and overpowering. We are happy with this formulation and believe that you will be pleased too.

Jasmine Vanilla (also an ECONOMY SCENT) - - LIMITED EDITION - I'll admit, I'm not likely to wear a plain jasmine fragrance. Don't get me wrong -- I do like it -- but with so many other scents to choose from, it usually isn't my first choice. So when I got a sample of this incredible blend from my perfumer, I couldn't believe my nose. I LOVE IT! With just the right ratio of jasmine to vanilla, it's a breathtaking, soft, feminine fragrance. It makes my nose HAPPY!

Joop (Men type) - Sophisticated and MMMM sexy, this scent is a refined oriental, woody fragrance with exotic spices, cinnamon, jasmine, honey, tobacco, and vetiver.

Kai (type) - This much-requested fragrance is finally here -- and it's stunning!

From our perfumer: "Kai perfume is a cult favorite among "perfumistas," who adore its fresh-cut gardenia fragrance. Our interpretation begins with fresh, green aldehydic notes and island gardenia, atop a floral middle of rose, jasmine, and muguet, with soft, sweet bottom notes of musk, sandalwood, and vanilla. If you love white florals like jasmine and tuberose or floral blends like Fracas and Child, our interpretation of Kai is a must-try!"

As an interesting side note, I found the original Kai fragrance online for $45 for a 1/8 ounce roll-on perfume oil.

Kauai Island Blossom - LIMITED EDITION - As you take a leisurely walk along the serene beaches of Kauai, you can smell the exotic fragrance of island blossoms dancing all around you, intoxicating your senses. Crystal clear water one one side, lush emerald mountains on the other... this is your dream world. The glorious scent of the islands is captured in this romantic, gingery blend of tropical florals. Limited Edition means we have a limited amount of this fragrance available, and when it's gone, it's gone.

Kiss Me There - If you love our "Lick Me All Over" fragrance (and I know a lot of you do), you'll want to roll around in "Kiss Me There"! This is a decadent blend of pineapple, cherries and a touch of lemon wrapped up in sweet vanilla cake with a dollop of marshmallow cream.

Kudzu - An uplifting light fruity combination of fresh ripe strawberries and grapes with floral undertones of jasmine and rose petals. This scent is really fruity & unique -- I call it "grape for grown ups"!

Lavender, Apples & Oak - We weren't really looking for another Lavender fragrance, but we heard so many wonderful things about this particular blend that we decided to order some & smell it ourselves. One sniff and we were SOLD! This is an absolutely phenomenal blend of lavender, fresh apples and oak. Not too sweet, not too flowery, nothing but JUST RIGHT! This is a favorite scent of one of my very favorite customers (love you, Cay!)

Lavender Cucumber SageLavender Cucumber Sage - Just as the name implies, this is a blend of lavender, sweet cucumber and garden sage. Herbal & green, with the emphasis slightly more on the cucumber. Totally fresh & clean.

Lavender (Essential Oil) - Natural lavender essential oil is absolutely wonderful for your skin, as well as your mind! Please note that lavender essential oil will smell different than a lavender fragrance oil (which is a blend of natural and synthetic material). Natural lavender oil has a somewhat camphorous scent that smells a bit medicinal to some people. Many people like it, but if you're looking for a more "flowery" lavender scent, we recommend our Lavender Fields fragrance.

Lavender Fields - A terrific floral fragrance for our customers who love the scent of lavender. This blend is lighter and less camphorous than lavender essential oil. Very nice!

Lavender MartiniLavender Martini - This fresh and clean blend got a big thumbs up from Todd, and he's not usually a big lavender fan. Tangy lemon zest, orange and a bit of effervescence is mixed with bergamot, mint and lavender, all tied together with a rosewood base. Fantastic.

Lavish Laundry (Victoria's Secret type) - I find this scent somewhat difficult to describe, because I seem to catch different notes every time I smell it. From our perfumer: "The current trends in scents keep leaning toward fresher, cleaner scents. Yet no one is really willing to drop their florals or citrus notes. With Lavish Laundry, you pretty much get all that you want! A floral spruce blend with hints of citrus peels and red berries on a dry down of musk..." If you like this, try our Arcadia

Leather - Rich leather, like your favorite jacket or maybe a purse or pair of sexy pants. This fragrance smells amazingly realistic, not fake like a lot of leather scents we sampled. I considered naming this "Blue Suede Shoes", but I didn't want to conjure olfactory images of funky foot odor.

Lemon Cream Cheese Cupcake - This fragrance is phenomenal! The crisp lemon is perfectly balanced by the sweet, creamy bakery notes. This will replace my Lemon Pound Cake fragrance, because I think it's a better blend and it wears better on skin.

Lemon Creme - Another creme scent blend that's delightful for so many reasons! This is a complex blend of sugar, butter, thick cream and juicy, tart lemon. Lightly sweet but not too sweet, this is a beautifully well balanced lemon fragrance. A personal favorite! From our perfumer: Sweetened with real vanilla, to balance the tartness of the pure lemon, and touched with just a hint of sugar... A delicious tart, soft, thick, spreadable cooked cream, it has more lemon juice and zest and a more buttery taste than lemon filling. With notes of lemongrass, litsea cubea, orange oil and vanilla.

Lemon Lavender - I've been trying to find a good lemon lavender blend for several years and I even tried blending my own, but I just couldn't find one I liked -- until now. This smooth herbal blend is enhanced with a touch of sweet orange and hints of eucalyptus, and balanced with orange blossom, green notes and a woodsy base.

Lemon Sage Ginger -ALL-NATURAL ESSENTIAL OIL BLEND - This all-natural essential oil blend has an almost addictive freshness. The three notes are expertly blended, with a slight emphasis on the lemon. Don't let the ginger component scare you; it's like a freshly-grated ginger, not overpowering or overly spicy. The sage adds just enough green, and all three scents come together for a very clean fragrance. I love this blend, and I think you will, too.

Lemon Sugar (type)Lemon Sugar (Fresh type) - Don't let the name fool you -- this is NOT a syrupy sweet fragrance. It's more like a fresh lemon with just a smidgen of sweetness -- very fresh & clean, like a cold glass of lightly sweetened lemonade on a hot summer day. It doesn't smell like furniture polish, like some lemon fragrances do.

Lemongrass & Sage (Bath and Body Works type) - We fell in love with this scent duo the very first time we smelled it, and you will too! A citrus blend with hints of "green" notes on a background of fresh "ozone" and a drydown of flowers & musk. This blend is a great duplicate of the Bath and Body Works version. Light and very fresh.

Lettuce - Sometimes I just crave a good clean "green" fragrance, and this one really makes my nose happy. Fresh, earthy & crisp with just a tiny hint of bitterness.

Lick Me All Over - We almost blushed when we first saw the name of this fragrance, but we were too intrigued not to try a sample. It just sounds so naughty! We're pleased to report it smells delicious -- it's a fruity blend of vanilla, orange, pineapple & cherry. Yum! If you like this fragrance, try Energy

Light Blue (Dolce & Gabbana type) - By special customer request, we're very pleased to add this breathtaking scent to our product line. This light floral a balance of Sicilian Citron, Granny Smith Apples and Bluebells, with middle notes of Jasmine, Bamboo & White Rose, with base notes of Cedar, Amber & Musk. Another scent that's just right for summer!

Lilac - Our lilac smells just like the real thing! A sweet floral with lilac topnotes and hints of Jasmine, white roses & lavender.

Lime Sugar - If you like my duplication of Fresh's Lemon Sugar (and I know you do!), you'll love this one. This is a fresh and clean lime scent, with just enough sugar to take the edge off so it's not too tart.

Little Black Dress - This unique scent is sophisticated and complex, but unassuming enough to wear on weekends with jeans & a comfy sweater. If you're looking for a new fragrance that goes with everything in your wardrobe, give this one a try. From our perfumer: "A custom blend, it's one of the sexiest fragrances we have! Bottom notes of White Carnation and blood orange are the perfect foil for the heart notes, comprised of sandalwood, black rose, smoky wood, and a kiss of patchouli. The top notes give a hint of toasted vanilla bean and whiffs of vetiver, amber, and the tiniest touch of Egyptian musk for a smoky, sexy finish. (If you hate musk, try this anyway, I promise you won't know it is there!) This is a big hit with the husbands and boyfriends! If I was able to fit into one, this is what I would wear. It just screams strappy sandals and slinky dress!"

Note: to the best of my knowledge, this is NOT a dupe of an Avon fragrance with the same name.

L'ombre Dans L'eau (Diptyque type) -- LIMITED EDITION - This "Shadow In The Water" fragrance is a very sensual floral blend. The heart is a romantic rose, with geranium, carnation and hints of orange peel on a gentle background of musky woods. The rose gives this unique fragrance a very Victorian feel, but the other notes keep it from being too heavy or overpowering.

I knew I had to have this fragrance when I kept coming back to smell my sample of it again & again. Even if you're not usually a fan of rose scents (I'm not), you may want to give this one a go.

Love Bites - Everyone who has smelled this fragrance loves it, even Todd. In fact, when I was testing it he made a special point of mentioning that he really liked it. It starts with fresh orange and sparkling lime, and is sweetened by playful cherries and berries. It's balanced with leafy greens and a base of sweet vanilla. If you like my "Lick Me All Over" and "Kiss Me There", you'll want to try this.

Love Hangover (Too Faced type) - Flirty, fun & very upscale! Tropical flowers including hibiscus and Hawaiian orange blossom are smoothly blended with melon, sugar cane, black currant, grapefruit, peony, and cashmere wood. I really like this scent!

Love Spell (Victoria's Secret type) - A sweet bouquet of mandarin, bergamot and orange enhanced by hints of peach and berries with an undertone of musk. A dead-on duplication of Love Spell from Victoria's Secret. If you like Love Spell, try our Magnolia Marmalade fragrance!

Lychee Fruit fragranceLychee Fruit - The first word that comes to mind when I smell this fragrance is: STRONG! Lychee fruit (also spelled Litchi) is in the soapberry family, native to southern China. This much-requested fragrance is tart, juicy and absolutely unique.

Madagascar Vanilla (Vaniglia del Madagascar -- i Profumi di Firenze type) - We fell in love with this amazing & exotic vanilla blend and just had to add it to our product line! From our perfumer: "A MUST-HAVE for Vanilla lovers! A rich blend of Madagascar Vanilla Orchid and Vanilla Bean with a sensual amber background. Madagascar produces the world's finest vanilla. The process of converting vanilla into a spice is very long and complicated; hence, vanilla is one of the most expensive spices in the world. An irresistible fragrance, this is heady, luscious and very sexy stuff."

Magnolia Marmalade - A mouth-watering, fruity, floral blend of magnolia blossoms, apple, peach, strawberry, jasmine, rose, raspberry and lavender. Bright, juicy & fresh, not at all cloying. Don't be surprised if you find yourself wanting to take several baths a day, just to smell it. This is a personal favorite of ours. If you like this, try our Love Spell (type) fragrance!

Mahogany Spice - LIMITED EDITION (also an ECONOMY SCENT)- Although I don't usually like to buy limited edition scents (I know... "What if I really love it and want to buy more?"), this scent is just so nice that I couldn't resist. I stocked up & we'll see how long my stash lasts once the word gets out about how fabulous it is. :)

An exotic blend of African mahogany wood and Tunisian spices with an almost citrus-y freshness. This should appeal to both men & women. Try this if you enjoy scents like Tuscan Cypress.

Mandarin Martini - An Aromagik Original Scent - This swanky little number is our own special blend of The Perfect Orange (not too tart, not too sweet) and the sophisticated aroma of a Gin Martini (complete with Canadian juniperberry oil, Siberian fir needle, with a jigger of ginger and a dash of vermouth). Shaken, not stirred. :)

Mango Margarita - This is one of the best mango scents I've ever smelled. It's not too tart, nor does it smell fake or sickening sweet. To me it smells like a fresh mango cocktail with hints of tequila and lime.

Mango Sorbetto (Tutti Dolci type) - Our duplication of the Bath & Body Works scent is a blend of juicy, ripe tropical mango rounded out with hints of raspberry and lemon. We were looking for a suitable replacement for our popular Mango Madness (which we were sad to have to discontinue!), and let me tell you -- this is it! You have NO idea how long we searched and how many samples of mango fragrances we sniffed, trying to find a good one! Most of them either smelled bad or didn't smell like mangos (go figure!). *insert sigh of relief*

Mangosteen - - LIMITED EDITION - What a juicy and unique fragrance! Think peaches and citrus with subtle hints of light flowers. This is a blend of mandarin, yuzu, and lemon with mangosteen, guava, green melon, red currant, vanilla musk and a hint of coconut palm. This reminds me a bit of of my limited edition "Bloomin' Peaches" scent.

Matin Calin (aka Lait Sucre - Comptoir Sud Pacifique type) - The name of this fragrance means "Morning Cuddle" (roughly translated), and I agree that wearing it will inspire a hug! "Lait Sucre" means "sugar milk" (again, roughly translated), which is a bit more descriptive of the scent. This is lightly sweet, but not too sugary. The warm milk notes in this scent are more prominent than in our Sweet Cream fragrance, in which the sweet sugar notes take center stage. I love them both! I've even worn both together & the aroma is quite soothing and, yes, cuddly. From our perfumer: "With a buttery note of milk and the sweetness of sugar candy and vanilla pod, this Comptoir Sud Pacifique® fragrance was rendered especially for us from the original, now-discontinued perfume, and this interpretation is true to it's name. This is a comfort scent like a mug of warm sweet milk before bedtime. What more could a "sweet scent" lover want?"

Midnight Pomegranate (Bath & Body Works type) - I love this. Unlike many other sweet pomegranate scents (which I really like a lot), this has something sexy and mysterious about it. This is a blend of juicy pomegranate, bergamot, iris and jasmine; boldly balanced with cinnamon, clove and nutmeg, all on a base of precious woods and cedar.

Milk Thistle - Limited Edition - I have to admit, I originally ordered a sample of this fragrance because I was intrigued by the name. Milk Thistle... makes me think of walking the green highlands of ancient Britain. Then when I smelled it, I discovered it smells fantastic! It's described as white freesia petals and softwoods combined with relaxing milk thistle. Though I'm really not sure what "milk thistle" should smell like, I love this scent because it's so fresh & clean. Give it a try! Limited Edition: Our perfumer is discontinuing this fragrance, so we have a limited amount in stock. When our supply is gone, we'll have to discontinue it as well.

Mojito - Fresh & clean, just like the drink! From our perfumer: "...strong top notes of juicy lime and sugar; balanced with mint leaves and rum."

Money - When my perfumer said they had formulated a scent that smells like freshly minted money, I was skeptical. But my curiosity was piqued so I got a sample. What a pleasant surprise! Not only does it smell like the ink and paper of fresh money (before it circulates and the general population gets their stank all over it), it really smells clean and appealing. Now I won't tell you it'll bring you wealth or good luck or any such nonsense, but just think how fun it'll be when people ask you what that lovely scent is that you're wearing and you can tell them, "I'm wearing Money."

Moonlight Path (Bath & Body Works type) - A light musk bouquet enhanced by exotic woods, with a hint of flowers. Words cannot do justice to this exquisite and haunting fragrance! This does NOT smell exactly like the Bath & Body Works version, but it's a wonderful scent nonetheless.

MyrrhMyrrh - I am in love with this rich yet delicate scent. If you like amber and vanilla scents, you'll love the warm sweetness of Myrrh.

Mystic Breeze - Crisp & light, this fragrance has a hint of floral, but I would consider it a peaceful, clean scent rather than a floral scent. This one makes me think of a calm summer breeze, or fresh laundry hanging on the clothesline. I love to wear this scent. Give it a try! If you like this scent, you may also like our Cotton Blossom (type)

Nag Champa - This unique fragrance can best be described as a light, powdery floral. We've found a fragrance that's a dead-on duplicate of our popular Satyi Sai Baba Nag Champa incense, and we're making it available in a wide variety of Aromagik™ Essentials products. Though we're not overly fond of florals and we almost never like powdery scents, we love this scent. Go figure! This fragrance is always a best seller.

New Car Scent - Smells like a new car with leather interior! This makes a perfect Scent Sack, but the leather notes make it pretty darn sexy as a bath & body fragrance, too.

Nut (The Body Shop type) - Move over Pink Sugar & Amour de Cacao -- there's a new sweetie in town! This luscious bit of nose candy is a blend of fruity vanilla, cotton candy, sweet almond, hawthorn & maple. It makes me think of super-moist almond cake, so moist you can almost wring it out. Really, I can't get over how much I like this scent. Wish I could eat it. (You know that means you'll smell positively edible, right?)

Nutcracker fragranceNutcracker - This may seem like a seasonal fragrance and it will definitely be extra nice around the holidays, but I can't stop smelling it and I know I'm going to be wearing it all year long. The smooth nutty notes are subtle, but they still take center stage, which I really like. This complex fragrance starts with top notes of butter, almond, mardarin orange, lemon, herbaceous lime, and pineapple with nutty notes, maple, clove, cinnamon, spicy berry notes, sage, lavender, jasmine, and ozonic notes, with a dry down of creamy vanilla coconut, amber woods, cedarleaf, cedarwood, sandalwood, and exotic musks. That said, words simply don't do this remarkable scent justice; you've GOT to smell it for yourself.

Oakmoss - A very earthy and powerful scent, our Oakmoss is a blend of cedarwood and patchouli with a background of moss and touches of jasmine and rose.

Orange Clove -- LIMITED EDITION - A bold blend of orange peels and zests enhanced by clove leaves and buds; this is sure to satisfy your search for the perfect spicy orange scent. If you're looking for a sweeter orange & spice blend, try my orange spice.

Orange Spice - I've been searching for a good Orange Spice scent for quite a while, and when I discovered the perfumer who makes my Orange Clove had vanished into thin air (web site gone...POOF!), I knew I'd better start looking in earnest. This is nicely balanced with more than just clove -- you'll also smell cinnamon and some other sweet spices mingling with the juicy orange.

Orange Vanilla - Smooth & creamy, this is the perfect blend of sweet & tangy orange with mouthwatering vanilla. This is not an "in your face" citrus scent, but rather a dreamy, mellow blend. Smells good enough to eat, but please don't!

Original Musk (type)
[compare with Kiehl's® Original Musk Blend No. 1 brand]

There are a lot of musk scents out there, and I've spent a long time searching for one that's truly memorable. This is it.

From our perfumer: "A great unisex scent. Kiehl's® Original Musk Oil is believed to have been created in the 1920's at the "Kiehl Apothecary." In 1958, it was discovered in a drum labeled simply "Love Oil". Reintroduced in 1963, it became a huge hit in the '60's and '70's. A scent that has layers of time travel...back to the '60's, the '50s, the '20's...and even earlier. Musk was a scent favored in ancient Egypt for perfumery and has long been associated with the Land of the Nile.

Back again, in it's sensual warmth, our version is a ringer for the original scent. Probably more masculine (than feminine) out of bottle, it mellows beautifully on the skin. With notes of patchouli, ylang ylang and rose to temper the musk like the original vintage fragrance, it also is a great blender. It's rich and smooth and just gets better and better as you wear it."

Paradise Cove - I can almost feel the sand between my toes when I smell this fragrance! This is clean & gently floral with fruity top notes.

From our perfumer: "...a sparkling fragrance with salt water and fresh air notes. This fragrance begins with notes of nectarine, bird of paradise, and water lily, followed by middle notes of passion flower, orchid, and hyacinth. A well-rounded fragrance empowered by fresh air and salt water notes."

Patchouli Blend - My patchouli-loving friends bemoaned the change when I had to stop using patchouli essential oil in my bar soaps, due to the sky-high cost of the oil. Well, I've got great news! I finally found an affordable fragrance oil that smells so much like the essential oil, I can hardly tell the difference. This is what I'll be using in my bar soaps when you select "Dark Patchouli", at least until the price of patchouli essential oil comes back down. This would also be a great choice for anyone who has a sensitivity to essential oils, and is especially recommended for triple-scented products to minimize the possibility of skin irritation.

Patchouli Champa - We've taken two tremendously popular fragrances - earthy, rich Dark Patchouli and exotic, powdery Nag Champa - and blended them together for a brilliant new scent! This blend should be popular with Patchouli lovers and Champa fans alike. Another Aromagik™ original blend!

Patchouli Dusk LIMITED EDITION - This is an alluring blend of patchouli, amber, and fresh rain notes.

Patchouli Lavender
ForYourNose.com Original All-Natural Essential Oil Blend

If you're a patchouli fan, you'll want to try our all-natural blend of Dark Patchouli essential oil and Lavender Essential oil. Lavender is relaxing and Patchouli eases anxiety and reduces mental fatigue. This is very earthy.

Patchouli Orange - Aromagik™ Original - I've been meaning to experiment with this fragrance combination for ages, and I was finally inspired to sit down & blend it after receiving a special customer request. This marriage of earthy patchouli and juicy, fresh orange is a 100% natural blend of Patchouli Essential Oil and Five-Fold Sweet Orange Essential Oil.

Patchouli Pear - a ForYourNose original blend - This is my own blend of dark patchouli essential oil and sweet, ripe pears. My patchouli testers gave this one an enthusiastic thumbs up.

Patchouli Peppermint - My perfumer calls this fragrance "Hippie Christmas" but my minions weren't too keen on that name so I settled on Patchouli Peppermint, despite the fact that I had already found this swell graphic of Santa rockin' out. :)

Patchouli fans will dig this groovy blend of patchouli, sandalwood and peppermint, rounded out with hints of berries and vanilla.

Patchouli Rose - This Aromagik™ original blend marries the dark earthiness of Patchouli with the heady floral of Red Roses for an unforgettable combination that Patchouli fans will simply love. It took some experimenting before we found just the right ratio of patchouli to rose, and we think you'll enjoy the exotic results.

Patchouli Sandalwood - Earthy & classic, for this blend we use 100% natural patchouli essential oil blended with a sweet sandalwood fragrance oil, to round it out. If you like patchouli but don't want a strong patchouli, we recommend this blend. This fragrance gained popularity in the 60's and it continues to be a favorite of our customers, both male and female. An Aromagik original blend.

Patchouli Vanilla - Patchouli blends are always popular, and this one is especially nice. The raw earthiness of patchouli is softened and balanced by rich, sweet vanilla.

Peach Smoothie - More than your average Peaches & Cream fragrance, this is a rich peach ice cream scent -- sweet & creamy, with a distinctly peach perfume. Lush & delicious!

Pecan Pie - Move over delicious, this is absolutely mouthwatering! I tested lots & lots of pecan pie scents and I finally found the one I can't live without. This is a perfect blend of rich butter, nutty toasted pecans and sweet whipped cream.

Peppermint Bark - This scent is amazing! My Peppermint Bark is a blend of cacao, white chocolate, milk chocolate, creamy vanilla, crushed candy cane, peppermint leaf, Tahitian vanilla bean and rich chocolate ganache.

Perfect Cranberry (was "Just Cranberry") - This cranberry is anything but ordinary! I tried lots of cranberry fragrances before I found this one. It's rich and full, without those nasty chemical notes you'll find in a lot of cranberry scents. Watch for this single-note fragrance to be used in exclusive Aromagik fragrance blends in the future. From our perfumer: "This is not a tart cranberry, it is a very lively in-your-face fragrance with a hint of caramelized sugar. This is our fantasy interpretation of what we want a cranberry to smell like!"

Perfect Peach (was Just Peachy) - - LIMITED EDITION - Sweet, juicy and very peachy. You can smell the skin and the syrupy juice from a fresh peach. Makes my mouth water, longing for one of my favorite summer fruits!

Perfect Pear (New Formula as of 9/9/07) - We didn't think pear could get any better than our original Perfect Pear. We were wrong! This juicy, ripe pear fragrance has an amazing depth and staying power. Very intense and realistic.

Petals & Cream - Gentle flowers with a kiss of sweet creamy vanilla. The layers of this surprisingly complex fragrance reveal themselves as you wear it. Very feminine and pretty.

Pink Buttercream (also an ECONOMY SCENT) - Sweet & fruity and fun! This is a blend of ripe raspberries and strawberries, mixed with lemon, pear, coconut and plum in a base of buttercream and sugar vanilla. YUM!

Pink Cheesecake - A ForYourNose.com original blend - Pink Sugar (type) + Homemade Cheesecake = deliciousness

Pink Cocoa - an Aromagik original scentPink Cocoa - a ForYourNose.com original scent - What happens when you take two phenomenal scents and put them together? Pure olfactory bliss, that's what. If you like Pink Sugar (type) and Amour de Cacao (type), you'll love Pink Cocoa.

Pink Frosted Layer Cake (Philosophy type) - This blend of cake, strawberries, buttercream and vanilla sugar is actually much more subtle than it sounds. Yes, it's a sweet scent, but it has a surprising freshness to it that makes it very wearable even for people who don't like heavy bakery scents.

Pink Grapefruit - This Pink Grapefruit is just the right balance of tart freshness, without the bitter overtones that so many grapefruit scents seem to have. This (or any of our citrus fragrances, for that matter) is the perfect morning pick-me-up scent, especially in a body wash. If you like this fragrance, try these: Energy, Bergamot, Citrus Blackberry

Pink Strawberry - AForYourNose.com original blend - Pink Sugar (type) + Strawberry = deliciousness

Pink Sugar (Aquolina type) - I have to admit, I never thought I'd want to smell like cotton candy (well, past 4th grade, that is). But...WOW! Our dead-on duplicate of Aquolina Pink Sugar is phenomenal! Sweet & playful -- and incredibly wearable. This is a really complex blend, and it's by far the very best Pink Sugar out there. From our perfumer: "A duplication of [the] very popular Aquolina fragrance, this is a delicate scent, sweet, light-hearted and innocent. It smells of Cotton Candy, Vanilla and Caramel. But it's also lightened with a fresh Bergamot and orangy citrus top note, with touches of Berries, Muget, Strawberry, Plum, and a dry-down of Dry Fig Leaves, Musk, Anise, Musk and Woods."

Pink Vanilla FlanPink Vanilla Flan - A ForYourNose Original Scent - A luscious blend of Pink Sugar (Aquolina type) and our creamy Vanilla Flan. Sweet bakery fans will adore this mouthwatering blend.

Pistachio Pudding CakePistachio Pudding Cake - I love, love, love this bakery fragrance! A deliciously sweet blend of nutty pistachios and almonds, honey, and creamy vanilla custard.

Plumeria - We sampled a lot of different plumeria scents before we found this one, and our search was over! This is a rich, complex plumeria with lots of character. A slight floral undertone enhances the fruity, but not sweet, scent. Definitely a winner for plumeria fans!

Pocketful of Posies - A charming bouquet of rose, magnolia, gardenia, tuberose and iris blossom. Very pretty, very feminine, very memorable!

Pomegranate & Pear - LIMITED EDITION & ECONOMY SCENT- A terrific combo of juicy pears and bold pomegranate. This is a luscious fruity blend that's playful and fun.

POmegranate & Sweet OrangePomegranate & Sweet Orange (Bath & Body Works type) - This is a nicely balanced blend of fresh, juicy fruit. Not too tart, not too sweet (no candy notes) -- just right. This is a very clean scent.

Pomegranate Champagne - Pomegranate scents are hot, and this one has a fun twist. This starts with a sparkling citrus blend of grapefruit, lemon & orange, then adds a twist of fresh pomegranate and a little touch of green to keep it bright. You can almost smell the bubbles!

Pomegranate Musk - This scent is so similar to my popular Blackberry Musk scent that I almost thought I was smelling its twin, but there are subtle differences that I think you'll really like. This is just a touch more fruity.

Primal Rain - A complex blend of air, water & sweet woods -- lush and sensual.

From our (rather poetic) perfumer: "Rain showers fall upon leaves while giving fresh life to wild flowers in bloom. Fir, pine, balsam, and Cedarwood trees stretch so high they touch the stars. Morning breaks with dew soaked grassland; while the air is fresher than the freedom you feel standing alone in the green paradise."

Primrose fragrancePrimrose (Limited Edition) - Primrose is a bright and bold, cheery floral scent. Lush and pretty, with hints of green.

Princess (Vera Wang type) -Romantic, playful & flirty, Princess is a stunning fragrance for summer. Here's a description of this complex fragrance: Top notes of water lilies, lady apples, mandarin and golden ripe apricot are intertwined with sheer floral notes including Tahitian Tiare and Wild Tuberose, touched with dark chocolate. Bottom notes of pink frosting, amber, warm woods, musk and vanilla.

Provence (Clean type) - Our version of the original "Clean" fragrance has been so overwhelmingly popular that I just had to try a sample of this scent, based on a perfume from the same company. It was love at first sniff! From our perfumer: "Part of the Randi Shinder's Clean® line introduced in 2003, Provence™ is a 'soft, fresh, beautiful scent captured by the fine milled soaps of France.' Reminiscent of pure soap and water or freshly laundered linens. This delicate, airy and "just-lathered" fresh fragrance has something comforting about it... like being in a beautiful open field of sweet hay on the first day of Spring. Infused with notes of Provencal lemon, cotton blossom, rose geranium, sweet lime and soft violet musk."

Pumpkin Crunch Cake - This fragrance is ONLY for Home scenting (Smelling Salts & Scent Sacks) - So many of the pumpkin pie scents I've tested are too heavy on the spices & the sweet pumpkin gets lost. This one is well-balanced and delicious! This is a mouthwatering blend of sweet pumpkin, sweetened condensed milk, yellow cake, butter, pecans and spices. So yummy!

Pumpkin & Green Fig - At once green & earthy - an outstanding blend of sumptuous spiced pumpkin and fresh green figs that begs to be worn. Never cloying, just lush & warm. Not just for women; I think our male customers will be pleasantly surprised at how much they like this one. From our perfumer: "Airy, green fig gives this unique fragrance a lift that is as fresh as the fall harvest air. Soft notes of pumpkin, clove, and nutmeg round out this fragrance while giving a natural feeling of warmth. This is a nice, not too spicy scent that is extremely fresh smelling even with dominant notes of pumpkin through and through."

Pumpkin Soufflé - I searched long and hard for a really good pumpkin scent, and I finally found the one that's FORYOURNOSE-worthy. All the other ones I tried were too heavy on the spices, overpowering the aroma of baked pumpkin. This is a creamy pumpkin pie wonderfully balanced with just the right amount of spices. From our perfumer: "A sweet, rich pumpkin soufflé with a delicious buttery nuance tempered by the perfect spice blend. The earthy sweetness of the pumpkin comes through with a well-balanced blend of clove, nutmeg, allspice and ginger, and just the right amount of cinnamon."

If you want a sweeter pumpkin scent, try my Pumpkin Vanilla Cream (see below).

Pumpkin Vanilla Cream - I wanted a sweet pumpkin scent to replace my old Pumpkin Muffin fragrance, and finding a good one was more difficult than I expected. Most of the scents I tested were more spice than pumpkin, or they smelled nutty and buttery but not like a truly good sweet pumpkin. Then I smelled this one, and knew I had a winner. This is a lovely blend of sweet pumpkin and creamy vanilla, with just a hint of spice.

Pure Grace (Philosophy type) - A light & soft floral that's fresh and very feminine. Sure to be a timeless classic! If you like our version of Philosophy's Amazing Grace, give Pure Grace a try! From our perfumer: "A lighter, softer, crisper interpretation of the original Amazing Grace® (type) fragrance, our Pure Grace® duplication is a clean, transparent blend with fresh blossoms of bergamot, water lily, lavender, and jasmine, and cool greens laced with sensual, frosty musk."

Raindrops - A beautifully balanced fresh & clean unisex scent that's perfect for wearing or for fragrancing your home or car. Neither too soft nor too sharp, Raindrops is an instant classic. From our perfumer: "Fresh aquatics with very, very light white florals yield to a harmonious blend of musks and sandalwoods..."

Raspberry Lemonade - This is another scent I've been searching for everywhere, and finally found one that didn't turn funky or fade when you wear it. This is a fantastic blend of sweet-tart lemonade and fresh raspberries, and it wears really well.

Raspberry Truffles- This is a sweet & fruity candy blend all the way! It doesn't smell like fresh raspberries, nor does it smell strongly of chocolate. But while it's definitely a candy scent, it somehow manages to be sort of fresh & not cloying. It's a fun & flirty fusion of cheeky sweetness!

Raspberry Zinger - This delicious fragrance is so realistic, it made me go on a quest for the real thing. I love this one.

From our perfumer: "Ever eaten a Hostess Raspberry Cream filled Zinger? Well, we have duplicated the aroma. This wonderful creative scent begins with sweet raspberry and toasted coconut, middle notes of buttercream frosting, and bottom notes of freshly baked yellow sponge cake."

Red Clover Tea - This fragrance has a delightful sparkle that appeals to both men & women. It's a delicious fruity floral blend that's as innocent as it is sophisticated. Notes of fresh jasmine, lily of the valley, violets and lavender topped off with notes of fresh ripe peaches and raspberries. This was a hands-down winner with all our testers. You'll definitely want to wear this one!

Red Roses - Our faithful rendition of this beautiful fragrance is warm & full-bodied. Enjoy your summer garden all year long with a marvelous adaptation of this true, classic, well-loved favorite!

Ribbon Candy - This fragrance is too delicious to limit it to the holidays! Hints of rose and carnation add a bit of sophistication to this sweet berry candy scent.

Rice Flower & Shea (Bath & Body Works type) - I had to fight the urge to rename this fragrance, but I know many of my customers recognize fragrance names from Bath & Body Works, so the name stays. 'Rice Flower & Shea' doesn't even begin to do justice to this delicate, sweet blend. Rice flower sounds so bland, and I've smelled shea - this blend is far beyond that. This is not a strong or overpowering scent by any means, but I think it's delightful in its simplicity. This is a sweet warm musk with light floral top notes of jasmine and lilac.

Rivermoss - Rivermoss is the feminine companion scent for our Sapmoss (type) fragrance. (Be sure to read our Sapmoss fragrance description!) This is a sophisticated blend of Sapmoss (type) and sweet Hibiscus. Our Sapmoss and Rivermoss perfumes are perfectly balanced and made to work with each other. You know you were meant to be together, and now you can even SMELL like you're meant to be together. Earthy (but not too earthy), intriguing, and absolutely unique! A foryournose.com original scent. If you like this, try our Watermoss -- another FORYOURNOSE original blend.

Rootbeer fragranceRootbeer - Oooooh yeah! This smells just like a big frosty mug of thirst-quenching rootbeer. Refreshing, sweet, playful and delicious!

Rose Hips & Jasmine - I've learned a lot about rose hips since discovering this delightful scent. Rose hips are the cherry-sized red fruits of the rose bush left behind after the bloom has died. They're described as fruity and spicy, much like cranberries. It's interesting to note that they contain 20 times more vitamin C than oranges.

The tartness of rose hips is blended with the sweet floral of jasmine, with notes of geranium & carnation to round it out. The rose is obvious in this fragrance, but it is a mysterious & sultry blend to be sure.

Rosemary Mint - A well-balanced blend of invigorating, uplifting rosemary and cool, soothing mint. In times past, rosemary was considered the herb of fidelity, love and lasting friendship.

Sage & Citrus - How is this scent different from our immensely popular version of 'Lemongrass & Sage' (B&BW type)? Compare & contrast: Both are bright, herbal blends. Our 'Lemongrass & Sage' highlights the green scent of lemongrass with a hint of sage. In this fabulous new blend of Sage & Citrus, it's the sage that takes center stage with a splash of citrus. Throw in some subtle background notes to smooth it out, and you've got a fragrance that you'll keep wanting to smell over & over. This may or may not be similar to other blends being sold with the same name. This is the first version I received from my perfumer, and I knew I didn't need to look any further. Yeah, it's that good.

Sake (Fresh type) - An exotic and fresh blend of fruit and flowers with an exquisite balance. Sweet but not cloying -- very bright and nice! From our perfumer: "Rich and velvety, our luscious interpretation is a blend of white peach absolute and sparkling langsat fruit creates a vibrant, sensually alluring combination. Gentle, flowery undertones of lotus flower and transparent lily of the valley mingle with the sensuality of warm musk and osmanthus flower... It comes together to make an altogether memorable and lasting delicate green and floral perfume, and layers beautifully with the sharper notes still present in leave on products."

Sampaquita (Ormonde Jayne type) - Our perfumer says the Sampaquita flower is a symbol of purity and fragility, coupled with fidelity and resolve. Sampaquita means "I promise you". This blend starts with top notes of lychee, green grass, bergamot and magnolia. The middle notes are Sampaquita absolute, freesia, muguet, rose and water lilies. The blend softly ends with bottom notes of musk, vetiver, moss and ambrette seed. This is a very green and fresh scent that reminds me of walking in a field on a warm summer day.

Sandalwood - This haunting and mysterious yet soft fragrance is an scent that has been used continuously since ancient times for its rich, warm, Oriental aroma. This is a somewhat sweet-smelling sandalwood type scent. A fragrance classic!

Sandalwood Acai - A ForYourNose original blend - Wow, what a combo! I took my ever-popular sandalwood fragrance and blended it with my warm and sensual acai berry fragrance and the result is very rich and sexy.

Sandalwood Amber - A ForYourNose original blend - I love my customers. This blend was suggested by one of my many wonderful customers, and I think it's just fantastic. It's sensual, mysterious and very, very sexy. If you like sandalwood and amber, you really need to smell how well they play together.

Sandalwood Lemon - a ForYourNose original scent - This is my own blend of earthy sandalwood and fresh lemon. It's bright, clean and exotic -- and terrific for men or women.

Sandalwood Rose - Even if you aren't a big fan of straight rose scents (we aren't), you should give this one a try. It's a very unusual musky & earthy blend, with just a wisp of floral. It reminds me of an exotic natural incense-type fragrance, but it's not overbearing at all. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I really enjoy wearing this scent.

Sapmoss (Aveda type) - Occasionally I'll get a fragrance sample that intrigues my nose so much that I just can't seem to put it down. This is one of those fragrances. At first sniff it's quite earthy, but then you sniff again...and again...and your nose discovers the subtle undertones of musk and vanilla. This is another one of those scents that I can't stop smelling; the more I smell it, the more I like it. Although this is a unisex fragrance, we think men will especially like it, so we've also created a companion scent for women - 'Rivermoss' - which blends Sapmoss with Hibiscus for a unique feminine scent.

From our perfumer: "A dead-on copy of Aveda's Sapmoss fragrance, which they use in shampoo and conditioner. A very unusual and earthy blend, with top notes of natural petigrain and galbanum, leading to a floral-herbal middle of yellow rose, cyclamen, and green notes. Much of this fragrance's character comes from strong bottom notes of natural olibanum, patchouli, sandalwood, and Virginia cedarwood oil, along with rich musk and Madagascar vanilla. BOTTOM LINE: Extremely earthy and natural smelling -- very much in keeping with Aveda's mission to offer only all-natural or largely natural scents. Far from pretty or perky or sweet; if J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth had an official fragrance, it would be this."

Satin Sheets - The night was sultry... :) This seductively romantic fragrance blends violet and jasmine with musk, blackberries and vanilla, with barely-there hints of chocolate and just a touch of green.

Satsuma Orange - The satsuma is a delicate, easy-to-peel variety of Mandarin orange that originated in China and was introduced to Japan by a Buddhist monk. This is a bright, fresh orange juice scent. It's not too tart, not too sweet, with hints of light florals and rounded out with a little bit of lime, mango & peach.

Seaside Cotton - This is what happens when you take two clean scents - ocean and clean sheets - and blend them together. This is a mix of clean ozone and marine notes, anchored with base notes of sheer musk and amber. This is similar to the scent "Sea Island Cotton" by Bath & Body Works, but it's not identical.

Secret Wonderland (Bath & Body Works type) - I'm constantly amazed and impressed by the fabulous scents that are offered at Bath & Body Works. This one is a blend of some of my favorite scents, and it's really well balanced. My version is a blend of luscious strawberry and frosted jasmine petals, with notes of white amber and creamy sandalwood.

Señorita Margarita (Philosophy type) - Tart, crisp and citrusy, this is a clean and refreshing blend of sweet orange, juicy lime and a touch of smooth vanilla.

Sensuous (Estee Lauder type) - This sexy scent is a fantastic blend of musk, warm amber, sandalwood and red cedar, with delicate floral notes of lilies and violets, with a touch of citrus zest and spices. I know everyone has different body chemistry, but the longevity of this scent in my personal testing is worth mentioning. I put some on my wrist in the evening, and could still smell it on my arm (not just on my shirt) when I woke up. That's some impressive sticking power.

Serenity - This fragrance is specifically blended to bring peace and relaxation to your busy world. A full-bodied, warm floral bouquet with light fruity top notes and a smooth background of sweet musk. So wearable you'll wonder how you lived without it.

Simply Divine Cherry Pie (Bath & Body Works type) - I fell in love with this scent the very first time I smelled it. This is a playful and fresh cherry scent with subtle hints of pie crust. This wears like a dream. Not too sweet, just right!

Smoke & Odor Eliminator - This fragrance is amazing. I stayed away from scents with this name for a long time because I thought they would smell industrial or obnoxious. Boy, am I glad I decided to try this one. It's strong, no doubt about that, and it covers odors incredibly well, but it's so pleasant that I keep coming back to it again and again. I know there are spices in here, but -- and this is the best part -- it contains a lot of natural essential oils, including orange, grapefruit and cinnamon.

Snickerdoodle - Wikipedia has some interesting notes about the possible origins of the name of this popular cookie; it could be German or Dutch in origin, or it could just be a whimsical name with no particular meaning. I remember my mother making them for us when we were kids, and now I want to make some for my own son. Unlike other Snickerdoodle scents I tested (most of which just smelled like cinnamon buns or cinnamon vanilla), this one smells more like the real thing, with a mouthwatering blend of cinnamon sugar and butter cookie. This makes an exceptionally nice room fragrance, so be sure to try it in Smelling Salts or Tarts.

Somali Rose - What a surprising scent! Not heavily floral despite the name, this masculine blend combines rose with chocolate, sandalwood, anise, musk and a touch of green moss.

Sparkling Poinsettia - A classic holiday floral with a twist! This is fresh winter air, earthy green foliage, black tea, and ylang, all on a base of musk, sandalwood and fir.

Starfruit & Citrus - Once in a while I get a scent that Todd likes immediately. This is one of those scents. This blend of starfruit and juicy citrus is very fresh and clean.

Stargazer Lily - - LIMITED EDITION - This duplication of the lovely pink and white oriental hybrid flower is sweet and sensual. Lilies are a classic wedding flower, known for their beauty and scent. Intensely floral, this fragrance shouts, "SPRING!". We've been told this does NOT smell exactly like the real flower, but our customers love it nonetheless.

Sticky Toffee Pudding- LIMITED EDITION - - Despite the sugary-sounding name, this scent is not at all cloying. This blend of dates, vanilla, buttery caramel toffee and cake notes with just a hint of citrus is very wearable and surprisingly fresh.

Strawberry PassionStrawberry Passion - You wouldn't believe how difficult it is to find a truly great strawberry scent. Most of the ones I tested smelled funky, like bad chemicals, and not like strawberry at all. Even more of them didn't pass my skin testing, because they mutated or wore off way too quickly. But I really think I've got a winner with this one! My perfumer says it has bottom notes of cotton candy and french vanilla, but what I smell is a gorgeous, fresh strawberry that's softened just a bit by a light sweetness. It's not cloying or overly sweet by any means. I think it's just right, and I'm thrilled to add it to my scent list.

Stress Relief - As we all fill our days with more and more duties and projects, taking little or no time to relax, our worries and stress levels become unbearable. Get instant relief with this superbly balanced, calming blend of Lavender and Sage, touched with a hint of Peppermint and Star Anise. A lovely scent that quiets the mind and invigorates the spirit.

Sugar Berry MousseSugar Berry Mousse - I'm mad about this scent! Sweet & creamy, the top notes are wild berries, brandied cherries and sweet figs. The heart is a subtly spicy carnation and then it's all brought together with a base of vanilla cotton candy.

Sugar Cookie - We tested several sugar cookie fragrances before we found this mouthwatering blend of vanilla, sugar and cookies. You'll be tempted to eat it (but please don't)! If you like this, try our Birthday Cake fragrance!

Summer Pudding - This is an absolutely delicious fruity blend, with just the right balance of sweet and tart. I couldn't make myself wait until summer to add this scent to our collection.

From our perfumer: "Summer Pudding has crustless soft slices of fresh, Sweet Bread layered into a mold. A sweet/tart syrup is then made with sugar, lemon and a blend of berries, tenderly poached to keep their shape. Some of the syrup is reserved, and the fruit carefully spooned into the bread-lined mold. Weighed down and refrigerated, the mold chills and takes shape, until it's unmolded the next day and has the reserved juice poured over it. It couldn't be prettier, or more delicious!

Our fragrance opens with a lemon zest accord, and additional top notes of Black Current and Cassis. Middle notes of Blackberry, Guava and Plum add the heart of a summer fruit medley, and the scent dries down to Vanilla, Musk and Tonka Bean."

Summer Sunflowers - - LIMITED EDITION - A sweet & clean blend of violet, carnation and a hint of juicy berries. More floral than fruity. Very bright & fresh, and perfect for Linen Sprays.

Sunwashed Linen - Clean, fresh and inviting, Sunwashed Linen smells like freshly washed linen dried outdoors on a warm sunny day, yet it's utterly wearable & sophisticated. If you like this, try our Mystic Breeze and Cotton Blossom (type)

Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin (Bath & Body Works type) - I'd give you the description from our perfumer, but this time I think their words fall short of the true nature of this blend. Despite its name, I wouldn't necessarily say this fragrance smells much like pumpkin -- but the spicy sweetness is absolutely phenomenal, lightly fruity, and quite unique. Mmmm... Give it a try!

Sweet Cream - Sweet, creamy, sexy & innocent -- you'll want to slather this rich blend of sweet buttercream and raw cane sugar all over yourself. No spices or cake notes in this one -- just pure, smooth creaminess. It's like vanilla on steroids. Note: This is sweeter than our version of Comptoir Sud Pacifique's Matin Calin (Lait Sucre).

Sweet Orange Chili Pepper - If you like fresh & clean citrus scents, this is sure to be one of your new favorites. It's a knockout blend of fresh-squeezed orange juice with a little kick of chili pepper that adds a lightly herbal quality to it. It's rounded out with some bergamot, tangerine zest and a little bit of musk.

Sweet Orange Essential Oil (5-Fold) - There's nothing quite like the 100% natural, tart aroma of Sweet Orange Essential Oil for refreshing and stimulating your skin and senses (named "sweet" to distinguish it from the oil of the bitter orange tree). Sweet Orange Oil is made from fresh orange peels and is slightly astringent, making it an excellent choice for oily skin. It's important to note that "regular" Sweet Orange Essential Oil contains turpenes, which will make your skin sensitive to ultraviolet rays. We've chosen this specially processed five-fold oil for our products because the turpenes have been removed and it's safe for leave-on products like lotions & creams.

Sweet Patchouli - Our Dark Patchouli and Patchouli blends are wildly popular with our customers, and we think this is sure to be a best seller! This is actually similar to our Patchouli Sandalwood blend, but it's made without the super-strong Patchouli Essential Oil. Very earthy & smooth.

Sweet Pea (Bath & Body Works type) - I have to admit, I'm not usually a big fan of floral fragrances. That said, this is quickly becoming one of my new favorites -- it's that good! A light and refreshing floral with hints of jasmine, violet and lily of the valley set on a velvet musk background. Fresh, sweet but not overpowering... simply delightful.

Tahitian VanillaTahitian Vanilla - A friend recently told me "you can't have too many vanillas". As a serious scent junkie who loves a good vanilla, I took her comment to heart. Tahitian Vanilla is a fresh and sexy scent, with a splash of citrus notes. Not overpowering in the least, just a good clean wear-it-every-day vanilla.

Thai Coco Martini - - LIMITED EDITION - This exotic blend is similar to "Thai-Tini" by L'Artisan Parfumeur. It's a clean and unique blend of coconut milk, lemongrass, and vanilla. It reminds me of some "Coconut Lemongrass" blends I've smelled, but the addition of vanilla makes it a little sweeter. Fresh and clean, not at all cloying.

The Very Thought of You - Provocative and sensual, this is a very melodic blend of deep rich amber and sweet vanilla, with a touch of magic. Haunting and alluring.

Trick Or Treat - I know this sounds like a seasonal scent, but I'll be wearing it all year, especially in cooler weather. This is another scent that I just adore. It's autumn in a bottle. From our perfumer: "...begins with top notes of pumpkin, persimmon, and apple; followed by middle notes of blueberries, elderberries, currants, orange and cinnamon; and well rounded with base notes of sugar cane and vanilla."

Truth (Calvin Klein type) - Our interpretation of this Calvin Klein favorite is a refreshing, oriental, woody fragrance. Timeless and feminine, it contains a blend of fresh, natural rich woods that react to individual skin chemistry.

Tuberose - An exotic & sensual tropical floral - I LOVE this fragrance! From our perfumer: "Tuberose isn't a member of the rose family at all -- it has a heavy white tropical floral fragrance like jasmine or ylang-ylang. Tuberose absolute, an ingredient in numerous high quality perfumes, is incredibly expensive -- it actually costs more than its weight in gold. This is a delicious blend of tuberose, gardenia, and jasmine. It smells quite similar to the designer perfumes "Blonde" and "Blue Jeans Couture" -- rich, feminine, and very upscale."

Turkish Delight fragranceTurkish Delight - This blend is so unique I just had to have it. This takes the traditional turkish delight aroma of sweet raspberry and fresh-cut roses and adds creamy chocolate notes for an unconventional twist. Flirty and fun!

Tuscan Cypress - Bold, musky-earthy, and very sensual. From our perfumer: "Inspired by energizing smells of nature in Tuscan, Italy, this distinctive fragrance is exotic and outdoorsy. It's a scent that is clean and natural, just like a pile of freshly chopped Cypress soaked by an early morning summer rain. The smell of mixed evergreens is warmed by a sprinkle of spice to make a rustic fragrance that will appeal to both men and women."

Twilight Musk - This warm yet extremely fresh musk-based fragrance for men is calming and soothing.

Twilight Woods (Bath & Body Works type) - This fragrance is very similar to the popular Bath & Body Works scent, but my duplication is a bit more earthy and has more emphasis on the amber notes (which I love). No offense to B&BW, but I like mine just a touch better. :) This is an earthy blend that includes citrus and eucalyptus top notes, moss, patchouli and sandalwood middle notes, and woody, amber and musk bottom notes. This scent has tremendous sex appeal.

Unscented - Most of our products are also available unscented; just select "unscented" from the drop-down list of fragrances.

Vanilla Amber - A ForYourNose original blend - You know, I've tested numerous vanilla & amber blends from my perfumers over the years, and just never found one I liked. Finally it dawned on me: I needed to try blending one myself. The result is even better than I imagined. I chose a sweet creamy vanilla, which really takes the fragrance to a whole new level.

Vanilla Bean Noel (Bath and Body Works type)

After sampling many, many versions of this scent, I've finally found the best one. My testers have confirmed that this is a faithful duplication of the much-loved Vanilla Bean Noel fragrance from Bath & Body Works. According to my perfumer, this is the original Vanilla Bean Noel body lotion scent. It's a rich, smooth and unique interpretation of vanilla.

Vanilla Cream - This is SO popular! You may be tempted to taste this rich vanilla blend, but please don't! This is a heavenly scent of a cream-laden vanilla with no harsh or too-sweet edges. Marvelous!

Vanilla FlanVanilla Flan - Silky vanilla custard dripping with a creamy caramelized sugar sauce. This is one of my favorite desserts, and one of my new favorite scents!

Vanilla LavenderVanilla Lavender - NEW VERSION (as of 5/5/08) Mmm... Soft & dreamy! This is a beautifully balanced blend of creamy vanilla and herbal lavender. It's a lot like our old, beloved "Lavender Creme" but this is even better.

Vanilla Lilac - a ForYourNose original scent - This is my own blend of fresh lilacs and sweet vanilla. Together they're powdery and very feminine.

Vanilla Lust (Jill Stuart type) - I have one of my favorite customers to thank for leading me to this gorgeous scent. This blend features Madagascar vanilla with a touch of coconut milk and caramel, and is rounded out with exotic sandalwood. The result is a soft and pretty vanilla fragrance with powdery undertones.

Vanilla Musk - I tested a lot of vanilla musk scents and just couldn't find one I liked, so I decided I'd try blending my own. After much experimentation, I finally came up with a combination that I really like. It's neither too sweet nor too musky. This is a blend of my Classic Vanilla and White Musk -- seemingly simple, but the synergy of the two is surprisingly complex and sophisticated.

Vanilla Sandalwood - NEW VERSION - It's back, and better than ever! We searched, sampled and rejected many blends before we finally found this one. This new fusion of Vanilla and Sandalwood is richer and less sweet that our previous version. From our perfumer: "Sensuous, intoxicating, tear-his-clothes-off sexy, this fragrance is the perfect blend of down-to-earth woody sandalwood and musk sweetened with just the right balance of vanilla."

Vanilla...Something - Sometimes I test fragrances that defy description, and this is one of them. My perfumer calls it "Whipped Vanilla Cream", but it doesn't really smell like whipped cream to me. It's definitely vanilla - sweet and lightly creamy with a little something extra that I find impossible to define. I just know it's one of those scents that I kept coming back to time & again until I finally decided I simply had to add it to my product line, despite the challenge to give it an appropriate name. So here it is: Vanilla...Something.

Vanille Abricot (Comptoir Sud Pacifique type) - Just wait till you smell what all the hubub is about! This Comptoir Sud Pacifique duplication is a stunning blend of sweet, creamy vanilla and fresh apricot, with hints of tropical papaya. We LOVE this scent!

Vanille Coco (Comptoir Sud Pacifique type) - My new favorite coconut scent! I've searched & searched for a really sweet coconut scent, and I finally found it! This Comptoir Sud Pacifique duplicate brings vanilla to the party, making the coconut really sing. Absolutely gorgeous & mouthwatering!

If you want a more subtle scent that smells more like fresh coconut milk, try our regular Coconut fragrance.

Velvet Fusion - This sensational fragrance - which our perfumer calls a "spa scent" - has cooling greens, zippy ginger and revitalizing melons. But what you really smell is a kicky, fresh scent that's smooth, sweet and virtually irresistible. Consider this: I asked Todd to smell 25+ assorted fragrances, and choose one for me to make a test bottle of lotion. His selection was without question or hesitation - he chose Velvet Fusion. 'Nuf said?

Verbena Berry - I got a sample of this fragrance with a candlemaking kit from one of my suppliers, and immediately fell in love with it. This blend of lemon verbena and ripe blueberries is fruity, bright and clean. Even if you don't usually like blueberry scents, you need to give this one a try. It's truly fantastic!

Vermont Apple Pie - You'd be surprised at how difficult it is to find a GOOD apple pie scent, that doesn't just smell like apples & cinnamon or apple cider. I'm on a quest for an apple pie that smells like the real thing, pie filling, crust and all. While this isn't exactly what I had in mind, the more I smelled it, the more I knew I had to have it. This captures the apple pie filling scent extremely well, with hints of spices and very appealing baked apple notes.

Very Sexy For Men (Victoria's Secret type) - A spicy citrus uni-gender blend of light Bergamot & Jasmine, combined with exotic notes of Cedar Wood, Sandalwood & warm Musk. It has top notes of tangerine, pink lime and bergamot leaves. The heart mixes Limewood, Cinnamon Bark and Sage. Vetiver and Orange Flower comprise the dry-down. This fragrance is often listed as a men's scent, but many women claim it as their own! It's as sexy and unexpected as the person who wears it.

Victoria (Victoria's Secret type) - By very special request, we're pleased to add this bright new scent to the FORYOURNOSE lineup. This is a fresh, clean & romantic floral blend - soft and alluring!

Wakaya (Crabtree & Evelyn type) - I fell in love with this tropical floral scent the very first time I did a skin test. It wears so beautifully! If you like bold florals like Tuberose, Tiare and Jasmine, you'll definitely want to try this one. From our perfumer: "Sweet Cara Cara Pink Navel Orange accents a bouquet of Tuberose, Tahitian Tiare flower, Night Blooming Jasmine, Plumeria Blossom, Rich Leafy Green Notes, Fresh Coconut Oil with a dry-down of Dry Driftwood & Teak."

Warm Vanilla Sugar (Bath & Body Works type) - African vanilla beans sweetened by a touch of sandalwood and coconut on a subtle background of white flowers. We're told this luscious fragrance is similar to the fragrance by the same name from Bath & Body Works (though we've been told our version is actually better!)

Water Blossom Ivy (Bath & Body Works type) - Once again, our perfumer has surprised and thrilled us with this fragrance. A light jasmine with nuances of rose, white flowers and lily of the valley on a mild, sweet and musky background. It practically shouts "CLEAN!" We can't seem to get enough of it!s

Watermelon Herb Granita - This fresh & clean scent is one of my new favorites. It wears like a dream - crisp and refreshing with just the right balance of sweet, ripe watermelon and green herbs.

From our perfumer: "Think of a sultry evening in the heart of the summer in southern Italy. It's too hot to sleep... after a stroll, a refreshing taste of shaved ice topped with watermelon and crushed Tuscany herbs just cuts right through the heat and humidity of the evening. Ahhh!

The scent opens with icy cold top notes of Rosemary, Petitgrain and Fresh Watermelon, moves into a fruity-floral bouquet of Cyclamen, Pettitgrain, Pineapple, Plum, Jasmine and Rose, and closes with Muguet, Musk and Antique Woods. This is a very different scent, and a grown-up interpretation of Watermelon!"

Watermoss - We've done it again! We've taken two phenomenal fragrances and turned them into a masterpiece that stands on its own! This original FORYOURNOSE fragrance combines the unique, gentle earthiness of Sapmoss (type) and our incredibly popular Cool Citrus Basil (type). The result? A fragrance that's sophisticated and clean -- and one that Todd really likes. If you like this, try our Rivermoss -- another FORYOURNOSE original blend.

White Ginger & Amber (Bath & Body Works type) - Sophisticated but yet subtle this scent starts out with a musk and sandalwood bouquet that is enhanced with a light scent of wild jasmine. This makes an excellent perfume. It's sure to become one of your new favorites! (It's already one of mine)

White Linen (Estee Lauder type) - - LIMITED EDITION - White Linen is bold and unforgettable, and at first sniff it seems like it's going to be almost too sharp and overpowering (and honestly, for some folks it really is), but then it seems to mellow like a dream. I'd call this a very "perfume-y" scent -- which I don't normally like -- but for some reason I've kept coming back to this again and again since I first smelled it almost 20 years ago. Classic.

White Musk - If you like a good musk scent as much as I do, you're going to flip over this one. Our perfumer calls this "clean, clean, clean and sexy as all get-out", and I couldn't agree more. Here's what else they have to say:

From our perfumer: "Mere words cannot do justice to this blend, but here's a weak attempt to communicate its greatness: Green aldehydic top notes give way to a playful, flirtatious floral middle of rose, jasmine, muguet, and ylang, which quickly yields to the most intoxicating, heady, sexy, clean finish of vanilla, amber, moss, and clouds of white musk."

White Spice - Exotic spices blended with orange, cinnamon and sandalwood. Fans of our Orange Clove scent will love this.

White Tea - A delightfully refreshing blend that combines the subtle scent of white tea and fresh notes - clean, light and delicious! Men and women all seem to love this scent. This is not a duplicate of the White Tea fragrance made by Origins.

Wild Huckleberry - A fresh berry scent with some kick! Tangy berries balanced on a lightly sweet background. This is a nice, strong scent without being overpowering.

Wild West - Wild West takes the sensual aroma of leather and kicks it up a few notches. While leather is definitely in the spotlight in this scent, when you add in touches of basil, patchouli, amber, cedar and musk, you've got a fragrance that's unbelievably sexy. I love to use this in Smelling Salts to fragrance my home.

Winter Wonderland - This well-balanced blend is great for the holidays and it's so unique I think you'll want to continue to enjoy it all winter long. Winter Wonderland consists of top notes of apples and pears; followed by middle notes of eucalyptus, pine, and geranium; and balanced with base notes of vanilla, cedarwood, and patchouli. Very pleasing and homey, without being too heavy on fruity, spicy or pine notes like some other winter blends.

Witching Hour - I'm so excited to add this new scent to my fragrance list! I love fall and everything associated with it, especially Halloween. But if you like this fragrance as much as I do, you'll probably want to use it year 'round. This is a magical blend of cinnamon bark with herbal notes of bergamot and cannabis flower combined with lush jasmine and rose. The base is sheer musk, black tea and patchouli. All together, the aroma is alluring and mysterious with just the right amount of sweetness. And here's what fascinates me: When all those scents come together, they somehow make me think of a bag of spicy gumdrops -- not as sweet as candy by any means, but with that same kind of rich smoothness. This is only available as a home scent.

Ylang Mimosa - - LIMITED EDITION - Fresh & unforgettable, this blend of ylang ylang and mimosa blossoms reminds me of the fragrance 'Ananya' from The Body Shop. Very sophisticated & complex -- and extremely wearable. I keep coming back again & again to sniff this one. From our perfumer: "an exotic floral with warm notes of jasmine, rosewood, musk, and cedarwood."

Yuzu (Japanese Grapefruit) - Yuzu, or Japanese Grapefruit, is truly the quintessential summer scent. Going beyond plain grapefruit, Yuzu is strong & bright with a truly remarkable depth. This is another scent that Todd & I both like.

From our perfumer: "Unlike regular grapefruit, Yuzu is a hybrid of grapefruit and mandarin, so it's got additional perfume notes. But not just mandarin or tangerine, but it's got a grapefruit blossom top note that's positively haunting."

Zucchini Bread - Wow... This is one of my new favorite scents! It smells just like mouthwatering zucchini bread, hot out of the oven. It has all the right spices: nutmeg, cinnamon and clove, perfectly blended and not overpowering the rest of the aroma, which is highlighted by bright notes of lemon and orange and hints of walnut. It's all on a base of creamy vanilla. This makes a very inviting home fragrance, and I also love to wear it.
